Will be staying at AK for the 1st time and have never been to Boma. I've heard that both Bfast and Dinner are wonderful. How my schedule works out, I'm only able to do both Bfast and dinner on the same day. Is this an ok idea? I'm hoping that because they are 2 different menu's I should be ok.....

thanks for any insight!

I've never done both on the same day, but I've never stayed at AKL. Given the convenience factor, I say do it. The meals are very different and the food at both is very good. The breakfast is much more "traditional with a few extras".

My family and I have stayed at AKL several times and booked breakfast and dinner on the same day as well. we LOVE the restaurant and enjoyed both meals. There were several days during our trips that we canceled a ressie at another restaurant to go back to Boma. I would say that you will be O.k.!! Enjoy!

Completely different meals and I would (and am planning to in October). The main reason we have booked AKL is for Boma :)

Breakfast they have carved meat, traditional breakfast offerings - don't miss the herbed grilled tomatoes and goats cheese scrambled eggs. The fruit is plentiful at both meals. great coffee and juice too. The sticky toffee buns with pecans are my sweet breakfast favourite - alongside cereals, pancakes and waffles etc that you find at all places. Less African at breakfast though.

The dinner is a carved station, various soups and stews, more fresh fruit, a kids station, salads that would keep me going back in themselves, great hummus and bread, the most amazing dessert station.

Everyone's taste is different but we have never been disappointed.

I would do it but schedule breakfast right when they open and dinner later and maybe skip lunch

2 buffets in one day is a lot of food

As a PP suggested, I would probably skip lunch on that day. Seems like every time DW and I eat at Boma, we come away stuffed to the gills- more so than at other WDW buffets. I guess you might say we love the food there! :thumbsup2

thanks for all the awesome responses!!! We will go for it and just plan on "rolling" around after eating two buffets in one day!

thanks again

Made a reservation for breakfast after our first dinner in 2002, and never looked back, everytime we stay at AKL we have breakfast atleast twice and dinner once. Already made 3 ADR's for our Nov visit!

We've done Boma breakfast and dinner a couple of times. And we're doing it again next month. They are both such interesting and delicious buffets. I'm not too keen on buffets in general but I make the exception for Boma.
