Boma - character meal?

A friend recently told me she got a PS for a character breakfast at Boma in June. Has anyone heard of this becoming a character breakfast? I asked my server when I was there a few weeks ago and he hadn't heard, but it was really busy and I'm not confident he understood the question. Server kept saying the character meal was in the park (Donald's) and they wouldn't have another character meal so close by. This made no sense to me considering CP is right near CRT, Ohana is right near Chef Mickey, etc. I came home and told my friend this and she's still convinced Boma is going to become a character meal. I think she's mistaken, but figured I'd see if anyone hear heard any rumors.

Maybe I am being a little selfish, but I really hope not.
The reason why I love having breakfast at Boma is because it is not really crowded and the food is very good.
Ofcourse the character breakfasts are fun, but people don't go there for the good food.

I do not think this is true, but the best way to find out would be to call the AR line. I would be interested in knowing what you find out. You are right...the response the server gave you about the character meals being too close together is ridiculous. Where did they pull that answer from?

Maybe she is confusing Boma's with O'hana's?

My Dad is constantly doing that.

I agree- Boma's is too good to ruin with Characters.

If it were true, the DIS most likely would have heard about it by now, and there would have been numerous posts!
