Boiled or grilled?

The BEST hot dog I ever had was at a now-defunct bowling alley here in town. They had a steamer and used beer and sauerkraut to cook the dogs. They plumped right up and were juicy as can be!

I'm a fan of grilled hotdogs myself, that is when I can get my husband to make anything on the grill. Otherwise, I use the old george foreman grill to make the dogs - it tastes almost as good.

I'll sometimes make a nice crockpot hot dog chili that my family enjoys when I have the time in the morning to fire up the crockpot.

I do not eat hotdogs. My family only eats turkey hot dogs and prefers them grilled. One DS eats veggie dogs and he prefers them boiled.

I don't really like hot dogs, but if I do eat them they have to be grilled black. Then smothered in Stadium mustard.
Boiled: eeewww, yuck!!!!!!!!

My absolute favorite??? On a stick with an outdoors blazing fire. Add some marshmallows later on and some corn-on-the-cob in the coals!!!!

We also grill and do the frying pan thing.

grilled - burnt actually - and when camping with dd's girl scout troop - they all want to burn a hot dog for Mrs. M
