BoG Ressies MUST. HAVE. A CREDIT CARD #

That would be the best (calling the people before the cancellation) but I would be surprised if that actually happened.

Does anyone know the guest services number? I was messing around on the my reservations page and realized a phone number had never been added to some of my ADRs I made over the phone (or the number was added in wrong). Would like to avoid the chaos on the dining line. If I have to I'll call back in a few days to do it but I would like to do it sooner than later.

There are indeed a few reports coming through that they are going to honor all of those ADRs. It took them THIS long to figure that out? Seriously amateur from a company like Disney.

They are posting that m
Now CMs are saying the automated calls made today will NOT be cancelled. I suspected as much...not requiring cc# for ressies made today is really the only acceptable solution to the problem.

It is hot ticket but I've seen a dozen or two posts about people making mutliple ADR's for BoG till they can make up their mind and cancel. if those went thru the IVR why bother to cancel?

FWIW I made one client later this afternoon thru the IVR did not get CC asked I will be calling to add it on the TA line. The IVR clearly made me listen to a recorded spiel that a CC is required to hold the ADR and if I wnated to proceed with it. For people to listen to that then not be asked to put in a CC and assume all is well and they are the exception to the rules is not very smart to me.

I see your point, but there just isn't a better answer at this point. Unless they want to devote staff to tracking everyone down by phone. To put any penalty on the customer when the customers in no way invited this or tried to circumvent the system would really be wrong on many levels. What about the person who got up, made their ADR on the automated line, ran out the door just in time for work, and never gets back on to check a computer tonight? It would just be wrong.

I had never used the automated system before but I did have other reservations for that trip that needed a cc hold, so I assumed they must already have that info when it never asked for it. I had my cc out waiting to add it and everything.

I'm glad they're honoring the ADRs without CC but my concern is IF the system is designed to automatically cancel, how would they know that ALL ADRs made today will be honored regardless?
Are they changing the program for the day?
And how would Disney know if some reservations being dropped because of all the mess?

HOORAY! It looks like Disney has found a work around to keep those ADRs from being cancelled!
