BOG reservation on MNSSHP night

what are the odds of a BOG dinner reservation on a MNSSHP night becoming available before October?!?? We tried at midnight at our 180 day mark and have checked multiple times a day since with no luck... We have tried for several years to get this and NEVER have been able to secure this coveted reservation! If anyone has had luck getting this what was your strategy? Thanks for any tips!

We are trying for a dinner reservation on a party might as well. So far no luck. The hours are listed as 4-6. Does anyone know if they eventually extend past 6 on party nights?

We got a 4:30 last year for one of our party nights. I tried at 6am exactly 180 out, and they were all gone. I constantly checked with no results. I finally managed to get one by subscribing to the cancellation thread here. So don't lose hope! FYI 4:30 was perfect! We entered the park at 4, and didn't have to run over to BOG. They were slightly behind, but we got out in plently of time before the start of the party.

I don't think they do extend the hours because the restaurant is technically closed during the party, starting at 7. They want to try and get people in and out by 7ish, especially since they have to escort non-party people out if they're there past 7.

You should have tried at 6am EST on your 180 day mark, that is when you can start doing adrs. Trying right at 6am, if your MNSSHP is earlier in the trip then it most likely would have been booked up but if it is later in the trip, you'd have better luck. I was easily able to get BOG dinner on our MVMCP night, but that night is our 8th day so that worked in our favor. Keep checking daily! Or follow the October cancellation thread here in the Dining Reservations subforum.. It is very helpful for lots of people looking for difficult adrs, you can see who is cancelling specific ones. I tried too at the 180, Party nights were day 180 + 4 and + 9. I couldnt get BOG for either. I reserved GF Cafe for 5:20 and will take the monorail to the party after dinner....IF I cant get BOG by then

we have done monorail resort dinners in the past and then headed over to the party... Not very ideal because the monorails get crowded with the people leaving the parks, the front area of magic kingdom gets super congested to get your bracelets and trick or treat bags... I was just really hoping to already be in the parks to not fight the crowds! I think if we can't get a BOG we will have a bigger late lunch and then "snack" type foods during the party and skip a sit down dinner. But I'm gonna keep trying!

Keep trying! I have a BOG ressie on Halloween I'm letting go if I can snag an early BOG lunch the day before.
