Kind of a crazy question -

Have 7:40 ADR at BOG and this night will be only opportunity to catch the electric parade. I have come up with two scenarios (yes, I know both heavily depend on getting seated on time and eating in basically an hour...so I'm kind of already writing off seeing the parade.)

Is it feasible to eat dinner & hop on the railroad around to Frontierland and catch the end of the parade? How long does the railroad take to get from stop to stop? Figured this way we could bypass crowds and it would get us right to the end of the parade route.

Or just brave the crowds on foot and try to catch the parade as it round Liberty Square?

The trip from BOG to Liberty Square should be easy, as most people will already lined up to view the the parade. That being said, depending on the time of year you are there, I would finish dinner and head past It's a Small World to the parade route. Remember, the parade takes about 15 minutes to get to the back of the park from the scheduled start time.

Great advice, thank you. We're there in October, so not "insane level" crowds. (knock on wood.)

It's not really necessary to be on the front line for the parade, as the floats are quite tall and the lighted street performers move about making them easy to see as well.
