BOG breakfast questions

1. Does it save a lot of time to order ahead?
2. What do they mean if you order ahead of time then they can't split the checks? We are on the dining plan but are in different rooms, does that mean we can't online order?
3. Any gluten free breakfast recommendations?

1. Yes.

2. Exactly what it says. You cannot pay for one ADR from multiple dining plans/rooms. One room will have to charge them all, or you cannot order online.

We just completed our ordering. There is an allergy button that will bring up the options (corn, eggs, milk, peanut, soy, tree nut and wheat) which then produces the menu. Most of the gluten free substitute the baguette for millet bread from what I could see

If there is an adult in each room, why not at least try to get two different ADRs within a few minutes of each other. That way each room could pre-order and pay with their own credits.

Getting there early won't help. They don't let you check in for breakfast/lunch until about 5 minutes before your ADR (or at least they wouldn't let me do it last month).

From what I understand this is not true if you have a PPO breakfast. Everyone is let in at the front starting at 7:45 and seated as they arrive.

When we had breakfast there, I ordered ahead but was put in the same line as those who did not order ahead. The only difference was, once I to the kiosk/cash area, I was directed to go directly to a cash and not a kiosk. So there was really no advantage at all to ordering ahead. From what I've ready, I don't think that is standard process though.
