Boca Chica GF Trees

Does anyone else get completely annoyed when they see the trees blocking the view of the castle at GF from the Boca Chica building? View off towards Poly...note tree...now imagine looking the other way through the tree towards the castle......

I admit I've never stayed at the GF before, but I do know that a lagoon does not equal a MK view there. Apparently in some of the buildings a lagoon view also means you only see water when looking one specific direction. If I ever stayed at the GF I doubt I would ask for a lagoon view since I have heard so many say that they aren't necessarily the best. For a great lagoon view, I would sooner pick the Polynesian.

Sorry you had such a view... though in all honesty, that first pic is gorgeous

ETA: I know you just said lagoon/castle view, but I assumed lagoon with my reply since I know they aren't the same (lagoon does not mean MK). I didn't know which you really had. I can't tell where the castle would be in your pic anyway

Hmm Well if I am paying for MK view there better not be a tree blocking my view. Lagoon view I am more flexible. I mean you paid for a view of the water- you saw the water. Now that they divided the rooms into Lagoon view= and MK view, I am anxious to see what I get. I will be if I can't see the mk after paying for it. Goodness I think I need the whaaaaaambulance myself today.

I am also wondering if you paid for a MK or Lagoon view. I have booked a total of 3 rooms with a MK view and hope there is no trees blocking the view.

I'm curious as to whether you paid for an actual MK view also. I paid for MK view for our trip in May. I sure hope, it's not the woolands view. JK, JK.

We paid for a lagoon view with the possibilty of an MK view - no gurantees. I am learning that now they have seperate views???? Fill me in please!

If you paid for a lagoon, that is all you were guaranteed at that time. The MK view costs more.

Thanks! Sounds like our view would NOT have been considered an MK view if it was obstructed by a tree or a dormer (at least I would hope not)! Don't get me started about the dormers!
