Anyone ever take one on any of the boats at WDW? Really like the boat ride from MGM to Epcot and would like to take my mom on that cruise. Can they handle ECVs? Does anyone know if its possible? Thanks!

I have used the boats with my ECV from BWV to Epcot and MGM without a problem. The crew will use a ramp to cover any gap from the deck to the boat. I used the boat from MK to FW. I don't remember which waterways sometimes flucuate which cause a problem so ECV can't board. I'm sure someone will let us know.

The small boats that go between the MK resorts and the MK are not accessible. There is a larger boat that goes between MK and WL/FW. That one is sometimes accessible and sometimes not. It depends on the water level. When the water level is either too high or too low, the boat is to high or low compared to the dock. When the difference in levels is small, they can make it up with a small, portable ramp. But there are times when the difference is just too large.

The large boats from the Transportation Center to MK have good access. The boats to Downtown Disney from Port Orleans although small have space reserved, and good ramp layout on both ends.
