Has anyone hired a pontoon or water mouse boat?

I'm wondering what ID, if any, I would need to show. I don't have a photo driving licence, only photo I have is on my passport.

I think all I needed was my room key, but that was from the jetty at OKW and I was staying there. It was a while ago so I'm not 100% sure.
