Boardwalk vs OKW

ive stayed at okw a handful of times but im looking at the boardwalk, if you have stayed at both before whats your opinion and does boardwalk have any quiet pools?? thanks

I own at the Boardwalk and have also stayed at OKW. Both have their positives but to answer your question - Yes, the Boardwalk has a quiet pool. Alot of families tend to gather at the main pool with the clown slide but the pool by the community center is used mainly by adults or older children.

Personally I like the Boardwalk feel. The one thing I did like about OKW was that you can park in front of your room. I didn't have any problem finding a quieter pool at OKW which was steps away from our room.

There's definately more to do at the Boardwalk and you can walk to MGM or Epcot which is really nice. You can also walk over to the Beach & Yacht Club.

In the past 6 months I've made my first stay at each of these resorts. I liked both of them.
I had a 2BR BW view at BWV. It was nice to sit on balcony and people watch, watch the fireworks, etc. Being able to walk to MGM and Epcot was nice also.

Had a 2 BR at OKW, also. OKW has a more laid back feel to it. It was very relaxing. Unit was huge! We were 6 adults and never felt crowded. Parking was great there, too. Although I love the excitement of the parks, it was nice to go back to the unit get away from that at times.

BWV has two quiet pools... One on the Inn side and one of the Villa side... It also has a Community Hall and BBQ near the Villa quiet pool...

Some have said that the BWV hallway walks can be quite long, but IMO its the same distance as having to walk to OKW HH from Building 18 or so...

Having stayed at both OKW and BWV, they both have there own feel and ambience at you'd be happy ay either. Having said that, BWV is our home resort, there is a quite pool that we found normally EMPTY and yes, very quiet. You'll love BWV if you are concerned about locale, walking to DS and EPCOT is a big plus. You can also boat over to both of those parks if you desire. You can't go wrong at either of the two resorts.

Love them both, boarwalk is my first choice. Don't mine staying at OKW though.

did both this past year. both are great. I like OKW for the size of the room, and the ability to park my car outside my room....I like the BWV because of its proximity to epcot and MGM..it is also alot more busy and noisy, but nothing beats being able to go on down for a drink and a red sox game at the espn club....i really like the pools at OKW, very relaxing
