Boardwalk Villas-What not to miss?

Thank you all for your ideas and suggestions. I am very excited about the trip and ready to explore all that the Boardwalk has to offer. I didn't realize the boat thing, so that is a good tip...I also didn't realize the nighttime entertainment would be going on in February either! Very nice to hear that as we have never seen any of that. My kids are older so Jellyrolls could very easily fit into our schedule and the kids can go their own way...don't worry, they are 18 and 13. :) I have never made it to Welcome Home Wednessdays and have really only been to the Boardwalk once to eat at ESPN with friends. Since I LOVE Epcot, this should be a great trip!

Depending on your circumstances, if you can do a date night I recommend an evening at 'Jellyrolls' (dueling pianos/sing along). There is a cover charge but it's alot of fun and you will be hoarse the next morning from singing(might want to plan this the night before an 'off' park day);)

I highly recommend Jellyrolls. You have to make there at least one night. :thumbsup2

Enjoy your vacation.

We just left this morning and last night we had dinner at Shulla's at the Swan. It was a great dinner and now they extend the 20% for Tables in Wonderland. Try it, you'll like it.

Were you able to make ADR's through the Disney system or did you have to call Swan directly?

TIA

I have never even been inside the Swan or Dolphin... I think I will stroll on over there!

The Belle Vue lounge is lovely for a drink before or after dinner. Dolphin has Fresh and Picabu for additional dining options.

Belle Vue is a great little spot. Nice for morning coffee runs or a drink at the end of the night.

This was a spur of the moment dinner. I walked over to the Swan at 4PM and asked if they had anything for that night. No problem, we got a 6:30 for 2 and we did get the 20% TIW discount. The steak portions are soooo big that my wife and I split a huge prime rib. This will now be a every trip event. To my knowledge, you cannot book ressie through Disney.

Awww...I'm officially homesick! We were in a 1 bedroom above the blue awning on the left side of the picture in December, 4th floor.
