Hi everyone! I wanted to see if anyone had pictures of the standard view 2BR Villas at the Boardwalk from the balconies so I could see the View, I'm also interested in pictures looking at the 2BR standard view villa from the resort grounds. Just curious of the different standard views, any room recommendations would be great! Thanks everyone!

You might try on the DVC resorts board for more answers. Or check the BW/BWV FAQ thread, but that might take a lot of looking.

Are you talking about booking for cash through Disney, or through DVC on points? Because I think different terminology is used for describing the villas for those - relative to standard, preferred, etc.

Just be aware, that DVC standard views at BWV are usually all booked by members because they are less expensive in points. Standard and boardwalk view rooms go fastest, and to members booking on points.

Are you booking on points or through Disney Reservation Center? They have different standard views.

Hi everyone, I have a reservation with DVC with points in a standard view room? Thanks!

So your view will be the front drive of the resort. Standard for points is the front drive area. Standard on a cash reservation through Disney Reservation Center is the same as a DVC Preferred/non-BW view (pool/garden).

This is looking up, from the front sidewalk, at my standard view studio...it did connect to a one bedroom.

If you are using points, they are along the front drive. If you are paying cash to Disney Reservation Center, they will be pool/water/garden views, but not BW view.

We are using pts. Why do cash paying guests get a pool/garden view under Standard view?

Because they don't offer a preferred and standard view for cash. And standard view at BWV for points is a hot commodity - gets sold out fast.

Plus what you see for cash is traded out from members (they wanted the Disney Collection on points). DVC gets more money for that view and it uses up more points.

there is no 2-bedroom dedicated at BWV.

only 2-bedroom lock out (1-bedroom w/connecting studio)

this can be a problem for small children - because of the outside door on the studio.

with teens they can leave and you not even know about it....:rolleyes1

this is the only DVC resorts w/o dedicated 2-bedroom - DVC does learn.

beaware that the epcot resorts share buses to MK, AK and DD - BWV shares with at least Dolphin and Swan. BC shares with Yc. - or worst case all 5 will share one bus.

so if your main park is Epcot and Studios - no problems - either walk or take the boat to the parks.

if on the other hand you are going to spend alot of time at the MK - then would reconsider my choice.

now love bwv (also own there) and really love in during the food/wine festavial and the flower/garden festavial. but know the good with the bad.

I like the only standard view w/points view of water - the steam that is at the end of the building - it will give you a view of the steam, teniis court, hc parking, with higher views you can see the higher fireworks from Epcot and Studios now despite being on the 5th floor I did not see these fireworks - generally walk to the bw area and see the MK and epcot fireworks from it.
