boardwalk slide closed in January?

We will be staying at the boardwalk jan 14th-19th. I have heard rumor that the slide will be closed during our stay. Wondering if weather permitting we will be allowed to use the slide at the beach club?

Generally, this is the case... At least it has been in the past...

There is a possibility the BWV slide may be closed in January. It is currently being discussed but no firm plans with dates have been established for a pool slide refurb at BWV in January 2007.

If it is closed for refurbishment I'd say it is about time it was looking faded last couple of time we were there.
