I am not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes...My DH, 2 boys (ages 11 and 9) and myself would like to see the boardwalk at night. we are not staying at the Boradwalk but thought it sounded like fun. I have heard they have street proformers and fun things to do at night. I was thinking of eating at ESPN Club and having desert at Beaches and Cream.

What are some other fun things you like to do at night on the Boardwalk with kids?

TIA,

Loralie

They have a couple of midway style games that are fun to play and taking the carriage bikes around the lake is fun as well.

When we were there the entertainment was in the earlier part of the evening, starting about seven and ending by ten.

The street performers are really wonderful with the kids, and I think your boys will enjoy a visit to the BW. You could also consider taking the boys to dinner at ESPN while you are there...A sports lovers paradise. :wizard:

My two girls love the street performers. Especially the magician that was there during our last stay. He had all the kids and adults amazed.....you'll have fun.

My two younger sons (14 and 9) just love the midway games and the funhouse mirror. The mirror is outside the gift shop, and it's like a magnet for them. We also enjoyed the performing magician, and we were lucky enough to see the cycling pianist one night.

Be sure to take them to the Sweet Shoppe and the Boardwalk Bakery, too.

My kids LOVE the Boardwalk area - their favorite thing to do is rent a Surrey Bike to ride around the walk - they're tons of fun!

My kids loved the view of the Boardwalk lit up at night from B&C. There is also an arcade next door for while you wait to get in.

We just returned 3 weeks ago from a stay at the BW. Kids are 8 and 3.

We all loved it there. The magicians and jugglers were loads of fun. DD and DS both won a stuffed animal playing the carnival games.

We also rented a surrey bike one night. Fun for everyone.

Your kids will have a lot of fun. My kids were 9 and 11 when we went in May and they loved it. The street performers were a big hit with them. I think your dining choices also sound perfect. Have fun!

Just keep close watch on the little ones, sometimes you will get guests that over-do it at the bars, then rent a surrey bike, and go racing up and down the boardwalk, and then go around the other side to the Y&BC resort, and do the same thing. We have seen several close calls, and I believe it will only be a matter of time before someone gets hurt and then they will discontinue the whole surrey bike thing. There used to be a tram that made the whole route from BW to Epcot to the Y&BC, as well as the S&D resorts then back to BW. They got rid of that because {the same inebreated guests} as well as children, would jump on and off along the route while the tram was in motion. It did not go as fast as the trams in the parking lots, so I people figured it was OK to get on and off while it was moving........sorry, I got a little :offtopic:

There is also a beautiful art gallery on the Boardwalk. My DH and I went there in April and when we took the kids down in August we made a point to take them there. There's some beautiful things in there. My boys are 14 and 16 and enjoyed it.

you got to go there at night it faantasiccccccccccc they gat magic shows for the kids and adults its a great time just get a coffee or drink sit and watch the crowds go by you will love it .we go 3 or 4 times every trip and we stay at allwstars you can walk into epcot or take the boat its a nice walk around the boardwalk

My 6 year old loved the magician - if you do not see him right on the Boardwalk - you might see him inside BWV - the lobby.
I just loved the bakery @ BWV too.

Definately hit the arcades for the kids. There's one right next to Beaches and Cream, and the one at the boardwalk is in the little walkway behind the art gallery. Also, if your kids like fireworks, stand on the bridge that connects the Boardwalk and the Yacht Club (right behind Atlantic Dance Hall) at 9:00. If the wind is blowing right, you can hear the music as well as you can in Epcot, and you can see most of the fireworks. Sometimes if you stand right outside Flying Fish and look out towards the shipwreck, you can also catch some of the fireworks in the Magic Kingdom.
