Everytime I visit WDW I go to ONE Park per Day, Stay there and go back to my Hotel(Which is Not a Disney Hotel) So I never knew you could go on site to some of the other Hotels and Explore!! I just found out about the Boardwalk and sounds Really neat being Im From NJ!!!
Only Problem, I don't know where it is and how to get there!!
I am going to try and Plan to go a Park that day and then Leave and go to the Boardwalk and either go Back to the Park or Home. What in your Opinion would be the Best Park to Visit that day to Get to the Boardwalk and Can we Leave our Car in the Parks Parking Lot if we decided to drive that day??? I want to try and make it as Easy as possible being I have 3 Kids with me(5,2,2mths) Me and my Husband)
SO Any Info would be Greatly Appreciated!!!!
Thanks sooo much!!!!!! :)

Epcot. If you leave the park through the International Gateway (between the UK and France), you can walk to BW in 5-10 minutes (YC and BC too, for that matter).

Take the World Showcase Exit at Epcot and walk to the Boardwalk. Depending on how late you are there you can enter back into epcot and go back to your car.

It's about a 15 minute walk from HS also. Just take the path along the canal near the front entrance. HS is not a full day park for us usually, so that would be a good day to check out the BW/BC/YC area. Yes, you can leave your car in the lot until you're done exploring.

I actually say DHS because of the car issue. If you stay too late (and EPCOT closes) you have no way of getting back to your car. That said, as a Jersey Girl myself, the boardwalk is just painful. Pretty, but really boring. If you are going during the day, allot 20 minutes to look around. At night is does get a bit better, but its kinda kitschy. ESPN zone is there and a dance hall but no "must sees."

Just wanted to add it's a gorgeous walk!!!!

And I'm gonna pull a Robo (this is not my map btw. I stole it from him)

The Boardwalk is nearest Epcot. Just go out the International Gateway at Epcot -- it is in World Showcase between Great Britain and France -- and walk toward the Beach Club. You'll come to a bridge on the left, cross that bridge and you're at the Boardwalk. You can leave your car at the Epcot parking lot while you're exploring the Boardwalk area. Epcot won't close until after Illuminations, so you should be fine. If you plan to stay at the Boardwalk until really late (doubtful with small children, but there is a terrific dueling piano bar "Jellyrolls," restaurants, and a dance hall that are open very late), you should move your car from the Epcot lot to the Boardwalk. You can't park your car at Boardwalk all day because it is reserved for people staying at BWI and BWV and those visiting the Boardwalk attractions (and parking is sometimes at a premium there), but if you're visiting the Boardwalk, you may park there for a period of time. Sometimes the guard will give you a three hour pass or just wave you in.

Boardwalk is also within walking distance of DHS, but it is closer to Epcot. But, you could easily do the Boardwalk on a DHS day. If you're ambulatory, it's about a 20 minute walk. You can also take the Friendship boat from DHS to Boardwalk. (You can take the boat from Epcot to BW, too, but it's usually faster to walk.)

Combining it with your DHS day would definitely work. Maybe go over there to eat and walk around for a little bit. You can take the boat from DHS too. Maybe even go back to the park after. Have fun! I love visiting all of the resorts.

Amazing how many people responded within 5 minutes!

I would argue that, for adults, Jellyrolls is a must see. You have to be 21 to enter and there is a cover charge, but it is amazing entertainment.

If you're going to be at Disney during the Christmas Season, it's definitely worth seeing. Make sure to tour the various resorts around Boardwalk - the Yacht Club, the Beach Club, and of course The Boardwalk resort itself.

As PPs have said - DHS or Epcot. You could also park at the Swan/Dolphin for just one dollar more than WDW parking and this way you would be close to your car at the end of the night and not have to worry about staying past Epcot closing.

Timing is everything when going to the Boardwalk. We have been there when there are a couple street performers and 2 or 3 games to play but we have also been there when it's dead, no performers and the games are closed. Don't think there is a lot there to keep your kids interested. I agree with Raenstorim you can probably spend 20 minutes there if you are just strolling around the Boardwalk. If you want to check out some of the resorts, shops or ride the bikes allow more time.

Yes!! That was VERY Fast!!! Thank you all Soo Much!!!!
I see that Epcot is going to be Easiest, but I think Im going to go with the Hollywood Studios Day to Visit Boardwalk. Epcot we are doing the Food & Wine Festival and with a lot of that taking up the day we have ADR's at the Polynesian that night!! I wanted to try and pop in ESPN for some Appetizers just to check out the scenery and such so know this wont be possible on Full Bellys from the F&W festival!!
But seeing Some said from HS its a 20 MINUTE Walk??? I don't know if that is going to be Ideal in the Heat!! 20 Minutes is a LONG time while pushing a Stroller at that!! Is there ANY other Way to get to Boardwalk from HS then to Walk???
Thank Again!!!!!

You can take a Friendship boat from HS to the boardwalk. It will actually make several stops, and I'm sure someone else can give the stops in order. But it seems like a nice alternative to walking.

Yes, you can take the boat from HS to Boardwalk. Very relaxing and fairly quick.

From DHS, it would probably be easiest to take the Friendship boat over to the Boardwalk. They do a loop from DHS to the Swan/Dolphin to Boardwalk to BC/YC and then to Epcot, they also do return trips on the opposite path. It's a nice additional ride, though it can take a bit. Also, as the Friendship boats deliver you back to the front of DHS it would be easy to get to your car from there.

I would get off the boat at Beach Club, walk into Beaches and Cream - for at least an ice cream from the window if not lunch if there isn't a wait. If you get an ice cream cone, you can take it as you walk around Crescent Lake to the Boardwalk.
