Boardwalk Concierge-HELP booking today!

Hi,
We are taking a second honeymoon and decided to splurge on Boardwalk Concierge, can anyone tell me the difference between a standard and a deluxe concierge room? It will be just the two of us so extra space won't be an issue. Is it a better view? Different floor? Is it worth the extra money?

The deluxe rooms we have had were located over the bakery and in that area - real nice to sit on the balcony and watch the sights. If you don't need the extra space you may not want to pay the extra money. You can always take the chance and book a standard room and once you get there ask for a boardwalk view - mention it's your 2nd honeymoon trip and they might be able to help you. One time we did that and got the room right across from the concierge lounge and that was real nice and convenient. (oh, we just asked if there was a boardwalk view - not that we said we were on our 2nd honeymoon. )

Congrats!! You will LOVE the BWI, especially the concierge level. The staff is AWESOME!! We booked the deluxe room in 05 to be guaranteed a Boardwalk view and then in 06 we had my parents along so got it again. Next year DD is bring her best friend so again we want the extra space and the extra tv. The extra space is nice and the view is wonderful but there are some regular rooms that have a Boardwalk view as well. If you decide to go for the deluxe room there are five on the fourth floor and five on the third floor. The lounge is on the fourth floor so you might want to request the fourth floor. Again, you will love it. I ca't wait to be back there!

We stayed in a deluxe room on the third floor and just loved it.

It was just the two of us, but we really enjoyed the sitting area. We like to spend time in the room relaxing to it was great to have this area to be able to stretch out and watch tv or just relax. Also. the balcony was great - beautiful view. We would get the deluxe again because we really enjoy the space and the view. By the way, we did request 4th floor but didn't get it, so remember it is just a request.

Whichever you decide, I am sure you will have a great time. The lounge is great and the staff there is awesome.

Thank you thank you everyone! We decided on standard club level. Concierge was a bit of a stretch to begin with, so we decided to just stay standard. I am so excited!! Thanks for all the help!

The lounge has this really neat mochaccino (sp?) drink that I liked. The AC is on full blast at BWI, so it was nice to grab a hot drink on the way back to the room! Enjoy!
