In the mobile version, once something is typed, there is no way to go back and edit it, other than posting your reply with all the mistakes. Then you have to go back in and edit the errors. An unnecessary couple extra steps.

What mobile are you using, my iPhone doesn't auto correct the item like if I touch the incorrect spelling , however I can touch and hold to move the cursor and go back and hit delete and type the word again....a pain I know, but at least I'm not posting with mistakes first.

I have noticed the screen does not scroll as you type though so what I'm typing eventually moves behind the on-screen keyboard making me pause to scroll and bring the text back into view.

Also, the website keeps locking up Chrome. I know it's Disboards, because the other 2 pages have never caused issues. I usually only have the same 2 pages open. The locking up started when I started going to Dis via the web.

I haven't had a single issue with DIS + Chrome on my laptop, desktop or iPhone. In fact, I have much faster load times now than I ever had with the old boards. I'm sorry you're having so much trouble.

The same thing for my ipad2. There's no way to navigate in the message to Edit unless you select and Cut. I'd rather not attempt to post than to waste time editing either before or after posting.

Using my iPhone6, as I am right now, I can correct in the manner you described.

I can do the same with my iphone4. Just had to, bc I spelled the phone with a "b" instead of a "ph". I will say that I only somewhat recently discovered that way of editing on this phone, and I've had it nearly three years.

I have the atomic lite browser on my phone and the mobile version has been freezing that up, too.

It's annoying that editing isn't possible on DIS using my iPad, yet, on wdwmagic.com's forums I can easily edit before posting my reply... and both sites run on Xen Foro.
