Boarding pass and RAC at different times?

Checked the stickies but can't find this answer:
We need to get boarding passes for AirTran right at the 24 hour mark for our trip home because we don't have assigned seats and need to be seated with a child. RAC isn't until 12 hours out. Can I get boarding passes printed from concierge at 24 hour mark then just check luggage with RAC at 12 hour mark?

Upon arrival to your resort, I would head on out to the Resort Airline Check-In Desk and ask them. They'll give you the most up to date answer.

Previously, it has been stressed to Concierge cast members to not use internet check-in for those flying a participating airline. The reason being that the RAC desk could not print luggage tags for reservations that had already been checked in. Guests would then have to take thier luggage to the airport, and check it directly with the airline instead.

Whether or not this applies to AirTran (which is still in it's trial run) is not certain.
