So is this forum basically just someone saying, "I got a pin today.. Yea for me!" and someone else saying, "How do I get a pin?" And somebody else saying, "Nobody knows"? I mean, pins can't be shared, right?

It's also a good way to find out what the GP offers might be. And when a GP offer comes out, it will be posted here, so it doesn't hurt to at least lurk on the thread that covers your trip dates and grab a discount before it's not available for your dates/room.

Also big rumors circulate periodically regarding possible discounts, and pins can be a good indication of the GP discounts that will be forthcoming.
