Blue MAn Group - last minute tix

Has anyone tried getting tix to this show at the last minute - i.e. - the day of the show?

The tix are kind of expensive and I am reluctant to purchase them until I see how tired we are at the end of the day.

(we will be there mid April - so it will likely be busy - I realize they may well be sold out)

Are there any last minute or other discount on these tickets - something akin to the HOT TIX booths in NYC?

I take it there either isn't a way to get cheap last minute tickets, or no one so far has any info on it.

It's a GREAT show, so maybe you just need to decide how badly you want to go. Would you be wanting to go closer to the beginning or the end of your trip? That will be a pretty good predictor of your energy levels, and you can plan around it. DH and I loved the show so much when we saw Blue Man Group on tour, that to us, it would be worth sleeping in late the day of the show to have the energy. Or if you're staying onsite or closeby and the show is late in your vacation, taking a midday nap would be worthwhile. I guess I'm saying that if I were in your position, I'd get the tickets and then just make sure I was at the show. We'll be there the next time we go to Universal, guaranteed.

The show is awesome! We've been three times and we've got two more shows planned in the next two months. We've had luck last minute each time but this is no gty. The show is so fast paced that even if you are a bit worn from the parks I think you'll be ok. I sent you a PM.

No discounts on tickets, except with an annual pass.

We got same-day tickets about a year ago and really good seats, too. It may have become more popular, though, I dunno.

It's a GREAT show. The best show in Orlando, IMO.
