Our 7year old is dying to see BMG when we go to Universal this spring- I know that the kids will want to be in the "poncho section" for sure! Seeing that tix aren't even available yet, I thought it would be a good time to research the best seats to see the show. Would front row center be the best way to go or would we be better to be 4 rows back (wondering if the kids could see better- not quite sure how stage is set up) Any advice would be fabulous!!!

Also, for planning, when would you suggest putting it into your itinerary? I was debating between the middle of the week or the last night...we'll be there for 6 nights.

We sat in the center section, third row back and the end of the row toward the left hand side (when looking at the stage). We thought those seats were perfect! (and DS was picked to "volunteer" for a part in the show).

I would say front row, center seats is your best bet. I have seen BMG many times in a few locations (boston, chicago, NY, orlando) and at all venues the best seats in the house are front and center. The poncho's are provided for a reason and I would strongly recommend using them. I dont want to spoil the show for you since you have never seen it. But I will just say that I have seen people "fore-go" the poncho's as they were either too stylish or too cool to wear them and I am certain they regret not putting them on.

I have been 3 times in the past year to BMG in Orlando twice with my 7 year old son, he loves it. As for the best seat we have been front row twice which is real cool to see their faces and expresions. But one time we sat center section right behind the handicap area which is 6 rows back and even though you are back a little you saw move show due to audience participation.

Can someone explain to me the "worth" of going to this? For me, it just looks like some X circus performer type guys, painted blue, banging on trashcans filled with milk? :lmao:

I'm guessing there is a lot more to it than that, but not sure.....:confused3

BMG is an experience, a rock concert for all your senses. Its fun, energetic, gets you moving. The music is awesome! It’s definitely a must do in my book…
Look up some of the youtube videos of their tours to get an idea, but it’s totally different in person.

hmmm...a lot to consider! I was thinking of getting seats in row "cc" which is 3 rows back from stage- maybe enough to see faces AND audience participation? Not sure if the kids would rather be right up front or if they'd see better being back a bit...

We sat front row/center and loved it.

A few words of advice--wear the ponchos. Some of the stuff which might come off of the stage may stain your clothing and make your wife not too happy with your decision not to make DS wear his poncho.

Mear words can't really fully describe BMG. It is what it is.... and I would venture to guess roughly 95% of the audience leaves loving it. The other 5% have a headache. :rotfl:

In 3 weeks (ish) I will be sitting in the same seat as Darcy03231 Center on the aisle left side, three rows back.

I'll let you know what I think :thumbsup2

I would say either sit right in front row center of sit back just out of poncho zone. It would be a waste to pay poncho zone not to be right in front.:thumbsup2

We went in July and I loved it AND had a headache~:lmao: I really didn't know what to expect. It was like comedy, music and something I can't describe rolled into one show. DEFINITELY entertaining. I was SO worried I would get picked, but thank goodness I didn't!
