I know as of right now lounge closed, but can you still go up and enjoy the outside balcony?
I searched forums but could not find an answer. Thank you

That might be a huge liability for Disney to allow guests to go up there without someone monitoring the traffic up there. I'd guess the glass doors are locked.

Don’t you also need a special elevator attendant to allow access? I’d guess that wouldn’t happen either.

I honestly didn’t even realize people stayed on the 16th floor...I’m too busy in my standard view on four or five to notice

We stayed at BLT once with friends, 2 bedroom lockoff, lake view. They put us on the 16th floor. We are so spoiled...we can never stay at BLT again. .
We could just walk to TOTWL...it was like our own private lounge. So awesome...

Does TOTWL serve all meals when open? I'm looking at switching to BLT at 7 months and it'd be nice to have a place for any meal not just dinner.

No, it really does not serve any meals. It’s a lounge, with some food selections.

When it was open, it didn't open until 6pm. The menu was pretty small...cheese board, flatbread, pretzel, 7 layer cake...and a few other things I can't remember.

We could just walk to TOTWL...it was like our own private lounge. So awesome...

We stayed on the 16th floor too back in 2015. My boys loved that you need to use you KTWC to access the floor.

We had an inner loop view that wasn’t as nice as our previous stay with an outer loop Lakeview that overlooked Space Mountain (you could see Wishes).

It was so convenient just to walk down the hall to the TWOL!

We are new members at BLT having recently bought a resale but haven't been yet. I though I had read somewhere that only members that had purchased direct from Disney can access the lounge (same as the EPCOT lounge), is this true? Do they really check?

No, that's not correct. All members have access to TOTWL. They do carefully check that you are a member though - or at least most CM's do.

Ours was the inner loop as well. Lol, no one told us we needed to use our magicband to get to the 16th floor...we kept going up and down the elevator until we noticed the place to scan your band...and finally got to our floor!

No, that's not correct. All members have access to TOTWL. They do carefully check that you are a member though - or at least most CM's do.

Thats great! Can't wait to check it out, hopefully it opens soon.
