Just curious....we are waitlisting BLT for 12/1-12/12 in a 2-bedroom. I want to make my waitlist as effective as possible, so which view has the most inventory?

We also have the BWV waitlisted, and I did the preferred view because I knew they have the most inventory in that view. I wasn't sure what to do with my BLT waitlist because I didn't know which view had the most 2-bedrooms assigned to it!

Thanks!!

Lake View is approx. 70% of the rooms at BLT
Theme Park View (new name) is approx. 20%
Standard View is approx. 10%

I didn't know they changed the name. :confused3 Why?

I believe it is so it can mesh with the new computer upgrade coming in the fall. The new system is supposed to be able to coordinate better with Disney's regular reservations system. I think this is also why some of the studios now say deluxe studio on the reservation.

Because Theme Park View increases the number of rooms in the booking category which now includes the back of space mountain and other non-MK areas.

BLT is not fully declared yet so the number of available 2 bedrooms may incorrect.

So, do you think it is possible they will start to reclassify some of the LV rooms to theme park view? Specifically, those on the northern end of the resort, facing out that can see the park and fireworks from the balcony?

We stayed in one of those last summer, and we loved the view. I can see them doing that and maybe taking some of those 3rd and 4th floor rooms that were MK view rooms and making them standard or lake view.

Like all companies, Disney is always looking for ways to increase their bottom line. Adding additional rooms to the booking category is a easy way to do so without costing them a thing. I know that some will say that it doesn't increase Disney's profits but I disagree. Causing Members to use more points adds to sales, just like reallocating our point schedules does.

There have been rumors that Disney was looking to reclassify some of the rooms at BLT.

- There have been many complaints of the low floor MK view rooms. When BLT opened, MK view rooms started on the 3rd floor. The rooms one floor below are classified as Standard View.
- There have also been some complaints of some of the low level LV rooms having the lake view obstructed by the bamboo.
- Many people request high floor, even number room, facing the South because it gives them a MK view at a LV points. Many people watch the fireworks from these rooms and wonder why anyone would use MK view points when they could end up with a 3rd floor room that has a much worse view of MK than these LV rooms.

Anyone know if I should requests anything "special" other then higher floor, we have a 2 bedroom LV BLT for mid Dec and Mid Feb and truly want a LV! I do not really care to look at the park, at least after seeing all the pictures posted. I want a quiet relaxing balcony watching the boats come and go without monorail and parking lot views.
