BLT Bug Problem

I have been hearing that a lot of people have experienced bug problems on their balconies at BLT. Is anyone aware of anything Disney is doing to try to remedy this situation? We are going in December and would hate not to be able to utilize the balcony.

Wasn't it just recently love bug time of year for the area which means billions of them were everywhere.

Disney is currently working with the Florida legislature to rid the state of any irritating bugs to improve tourism.

Last two weeks of September and first two weeks of October. They have been mild this year. We had almost none in May.
