Hello Everyone! :wizard:

I've never been to Blizzard Beach. I am looking for as many photos as possible of various areas within Blizzard Beach. What locations within Blizzard Beach would you recommend to take pictures at that would make for a fun or romantic photo opportunity? If water is there the better (I will have a lifeguard). Typhoon Lagoon is not an option since it is closed for rehab.

All input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!:thumbsup2

You should definitely take a picture from of Mt. Gushmore and in front of Summit Plummit. Also, there's a really cute "snow family" with Mt. Gushmore in the back and a sleigh with a backdrop. If you go up onto Mt. Gushmore you can great pictures of WDW and the Tree of Life in the back.

Oh wow, I am so jealous that you will be doing this! My DF used to lifeguard Blizzard, and he wants this shoot so badly, but I'm just not sure I can do that to my dress...have a lot of fun, if possible I think a picture on the chair lift would be so cool!

The Lazy River!! (I can't remember what it is called there)! Oh, and if they let you on, the childrens play area would take cute pictures :thumbsup2

My suggestion is if you really want to do it, find a different dress whether it be a cheap wedding dress or something else. I am using a cheap wedding dress, not the one I will be wearing for the ceremony. You can find some good ones brand new on Ebay.

Thank you :) I'm going to look at dresses on ebay right now! Although I've never used ebay before, so this could be interesting.

I haven't. This is all being arranged through Rosie. No one has ever done a photo shoot at Blizzard Beach before.

okay it has been done before. a friend of mine works events for the water parks. I used to be a lifeguard there, we did a 'trash the dress' session about a year ago. they were allowed in the park before it opened. so they could go to the kiddie area, a small part of the wave pool, and the lazy river up to a certain point. Just make sure (im sure its already been done) that Rosie is in contact with the events coordinator. her office is located at Typhoon. she will let you know what you can and can not do.

Hope this helps. :goodvibes

Really? Interesting. I was told it had only been done at Typhoon Lagoon. Thanks for the tip. I rather find out what can be done and what can't be done (picture-wise) in advance rather than get my hopes up.
