Blizard Beach, better than Typhoon Lagoon?

One thing we noticed about the lazy rivers was that BB seem more shallow and not as wide. TL seems much wider and deeper.

Blizzard beach gets my vote simply because of Teamboat Springs family raft ride!

I like Blizzard Beach better mostly because I love the thrill rides. But if your not that into the thrill, Typhoon Lagon would be the better choice.

I've been to both many times but I prefer the lazy river here. Also because it is older I like the layout and atmosphere better. And the new coconuts ride, pineapple etc, are alot of fun !

TL wins my vote. Seems to be cooler on those blazing days.

Ok Heres a question...
Can you hop? If you are at one and want to go try the other do you have to pay again or is it considering park hopping? I know it may not be feasible but could be an option..

Blizzard Beach has great tube slides, etc., and we liked it a ton, but my family all agreed that Typhoon Lagoon was our favorite. I personally love the wave pool (I know many out there despise the risk of getting scraped up, but I just love how you hear that big "boom" when the wave comes out and everyone screams with excitement!) I like the tropical feel at TL better than the white-out scenery of BB.

That said, my 4-yr-old DS hasn't stopped talking about the "family raft ride" (Teamboat Springs, I think) at Blizzard Beach. It is great...short wait time to get on and the ride goes on forever!

BB definitely feels more crowded.

You should be able to return to the same water parkif you leave, but if you go to a different one, you use a new entry. Unless you have a PAP or Water Park AP and then you go as much and as often as you like.

There is no park hopping allowed at the water parks using a park hopper. Park Hoppers are only good for the four theme parks.
