The older section of Black lake Road that was in disuse and barricaded for many years id supposed to be completely resurfaced and open. Effectively, it connects the Western end of Osceola Parkway to US192 without involving the awkward Sherberth Road . This means that folks going to the US27 villas from MCO can now use the Exit 3 of SR417 into Osceola Parkway, drive straight past I-4 and World Drive and continue into the reopened section of Black Lake Road near Animal Kingdom Lodge. Less than a couple of miles further, this road meets US192 close to the latter's Marker #4.
Likewise, people coming into WDW, I-4 or I-Drive from the US27 villas can leave US192 (eastbound) as early as Marker #4 and go to Osceola Parkway, thus avoiding the heavy traffic to Celebration and Kissimmee.
