Does anyone know offhand which stores price match?

Also, I heard that some stores won't for the Black Friday sales...

I'd love to be able to walk into a store that isn't having a "big item" on sale, and just price match it from another store's flyer. I know we did that one year, and I think it was Target, but I don't think they do it anymore.

Thanks!

Definitely Target doesnt do it anymore..not sure about others

As of last BF, our Kmart PMed. I don't shop there except on BF, so I'm not sure if that is still there policy.

I know Best Buy and Wal-Mart price match normally but whether they'll do it on Black Friday is worth a call to your local store to ask. I've found that all stores can be a bit different on their interpretations of rules.

I have a Dumb question..

How exactly do you price match? Do you just put the stuff in your cart and at check out the adjust the price? Do you need to bring in a paper from the other store.. Exactly how does it work....

Yep. That's exactly how you do it. Sometimes you have to go to CS and get it 'approved', but because BF is such a crazy day, I imagine unless you have a new cashier who's unfamiliar with PM you should be able to use the regular cashier without a problem.

Also.....our WM is CRAZY strict about PM. You HAVE TO have the WHOLE ad and it has to be IN ORDER or they won't PM. Even if the thing you want to PM is on the front cover and it clearly states the date, you still have to have the rest of the ad to PM.

Bringing the ad with you makes it easiest and yes they match on the spot. At our Wal-Mart, the cashiers typically have copies of the most popular sales ads at each register so they can look it up for you. However, if you have the ad then you can make sure you are buying EXACTLY the same item before you check-out.

Kmart used to do it. In fact, I would take the Toys R Us, and KB Toys circulars to the Kmart counter, and they would adjust everything.

I'm not sure if they still do that or not (I did it at the Wayne, PA Kmart)

I know Circuit City price matches. They PM'ed me with the Star Wars Trilogy. Compusa had it for $39.99, but they were out. I drove on over to Circuit City (same plaza) and they gave it to me for $39.49. I know that Office Max/Staples in my area price matches as well -- (but again, they are in the same plaza)

Walmart definetly does it as does Toys R Us. I price match at these 2 every year. I tend to just buy the Walmart toys at Toys r us and vice versa. Tends to sometimes work out better for me. This way I'm not fighting the same crowds at the same store.

I went to my local Walmart once and they told me they didn't price match. For all I know, I had a horrible cashier, or they just didn't know.

I haven't tried it since.
