I agree. I don't normally go out on BF because I don't want to get up early, wait in lines and deal with the craziness. If the stores open at Midnight I'd go out since I'd already be awake anyway and then I could sleep late in the morning.

I am needing to get a 32GB Ipod Touch this year. Right now Target has a 10% of Ipod coupon out and if you buy the 32 you get a $20 GC. I'm not sure if I should just get it now or wait until BF now that they are opening at midnight.

Amazon is price matching the Best Buy Xbox deal.


If this is just a preview to what's to come we should see some price matching and some good deals. I saw earlier that Best Buy will price match this season too. They won't price match BF ads.

I can't wait until black friday. If only I caould decide what stores to hit first.

A lot of the big name stores like Walmart (did last year), Target, and Kohl's are rumored to open at midnight.

Have you guys seen your TRU stores lately? The ones here have all been remodeled and the aisles are so narrow! First thing I thought of was that BF is gonig to be a nightmare. Barely, barely enough room to have two carts pass each other. I can't tell you how many people commented on it when I was there yesterday. (On another note I did well on the buy one video game get one at half off! Check those off the list!)

I am not gonig there simply based on their layout. If I can't get something on my list that's in their ad online, then I won't be getting it there.

Oh, and everything is completely in different places. LIke not even CLOSE to where it used to be. So, if you plan to go for BF, I strongly suggest going to get the lay of the land before that. I hadn't been to ours in several months, but MIL goes to hers often and she called me yesterday to ask if ours was all changed around too. (It's my son's birthday today so we both happened to be shopping.)

Half price books and the Toys R Us Big Toy Book are posted on the BF sites. My kids love when we get the Big Toy Book in the mail. They each get a different color sharpie and cirlce everything they want. By the time they are done the whole book is circled. I then make them go back thru and star their topy 3 choices. I can't wait to see the BF ads for Target, Kohls, and Wal-Mart.

So, are there any better deals at TRU on BF? -the TRU book deals are on now until Nov 23rd.

I am working overnights at TRU for the season.. I have to work both the 23rd and the 24th.. so much for Thanksgiving.

I don't know, but Bass Pro is so much fun on Thanksgiving day! The crowds are much lower than the day after, and the kids can participate in games and get pics with Santa!

I just added CVS BF Ad Scan. Also the first page of next week's Target Ad scan has leaked and here are the two items listed:
Westinghouse VR3215 32" 720p 60Hz LCD HDTV and Acer A0722-0473 11.6" Notebook will be on sale for $197 this Sunday, November 6.

I was able to ordr the TV online, about an hour ago; can't reach my sister, so I don't know if I need the computer, but I imagine that could be ordered, too.
eta: but the TV I got is, I think, 1080p for that price.

Well, Sears has an electric heater that looks like a wood stove for $89.99... but QVC has one today as their Special Value, for the same price, but in your choice of four different finishes, and broken down into four payments if you want. And they deliver. And pick up if you change your mind.

Hmmm. Which is the better deal...?

And then there's just a few things at CVS I want, not need. Still waiting to hear from my sister on a laptop, and I'm sure my brother will call Thanksgiving night with a list of what I need to pick up for him - even though I tell him I shop online and so should he.
