Black Friday Buddies 2011 Unite!

Does anyone know how to tell if Black Friday sale items can be ordered on-line? :surfweb: Not sure if I'm going to make it out or not this year.

I think I am going to try to find some online deals this year. I've always wanted to go and be among the chaos in the stores but if I can get great deals online in the comfort of my own home then that sounds like a winner. :santa:

I am wondering about ordering online on BF. Will the deals be there at midnight if the store opens at that time? I have always been at the outlets in Pigeon Forge or Myrtle Beach. The first Thanksgiving that I have been home in 4 years. I need a PS 3 move bundle deal.

I have not read the whole thread but regarding online, last year we bought DD's Ipad on sale online last year. I can't remember how much off but it was at least 10%. The was on Apple.com

Walmart's ad will tell you; so will putting sale items in your cart.

Gottadeal.com has lists of what's on sale at each store, with an icon if the item will be available online.

I have a newbie Black Friday question.:flower3:
I took dd to her favorite store this past week and she tried a bunch of things on. I know what she likes and what sizes for once:rotfl:
This store has an online Black Friday sale of Buy one item get the other for a penny on everything in the store!
There are quite a few things I want to get her.

So my question... could I fill my online shopping cart and hit purchase when the sale goes live? Would that work?
OR.. should I just be ready to add things really fast and hope it's all there?
My other alternative is to be at the mall when it opens, which might work a bit better but that would take some kind of miracle because I have to work:headache:

Depends on the store. Some stores will allow things to sit in their virtual carts until they are needed by another customer and some carts automatically reset after a specific time or when you log out. I would call the store manager and ask how their online system works (speak directly with the manager, you never know what you might hear from the kids who run the registers! :lmao:)

I just updated first page with links to new ads. I hope the ads get better especially with everyone opening at mid night this year. If not I may not do much shopping this year. I am not happy about most stores opening at same time. I loved the staggered open times so I could hit several places right when they open. Oh well, good thing I have most of my shopping done. :santa:

What does Abercrombie & Fitch do for Black Friday? My DD has a few things from there on her list.

She also has some items from Buckle. Anyone know anything about sales from this place??

Thanks,
Maggie

JCP is up and it's the first BF ad I've seen that excited me. Lots of good deals on basics like shoes, work shirts for DH and housewares. It seems they open at 4am though.
I'm still trying to figure out what stores are midnight and so on so I can plan my attack!

Just posted link to Cabelas ad on first page post. Boy lots have been release over the weekend and today. Now just waiting for the BIG ones like Target, Walmart, and Toys R Us.

they are always the last ones! :headache:

I'm hoping by mid next week? Anyone have any guesses?

I am sure we won't see the Big store ads until Nov. 21st. I hope those ads are good because I haven't seen anything that great yet. Heck I think the Blains Farm and Fleet toy catalog is the best one out there. We don't have one by us but my mom does so she went shopping there for me. I got several things for the kids. I would have never thought to look there for gifts.

Great thanks! I just updated first post with link to Staples, Bass Pro Shop, Costco, and Express ads.

I have 2010 Black Friday scans. The Big Stores, (Wal-Mart, Target, BB ect.) came out between 11/12/10 and 11/17/10:cool1: So another week, hopefully:woohoo:
