DVC Waitlist didn't come thru yet, but member services put it through.

It’s one of the enhancements I’d like to see…have the waitlist show pending if there is a match waiting to process.

Years ago my waitlists would disappear from my dashboard when they matched! I have no idea why they changed this?? Maybe too many members would then call in to MS to get it completed…? 🫩

Or maybe too many called in because the WL disappeared and they thought it had been cancelled by mistake.

BTW a recent data point: a couple of days ago I made a 4-night 1BR P/G view reservation at BWV for early December. We really wanted the same days one week before, but only the first three nights were available, so I WL the entire 4-night stay even knowing it might be harder to fill due to being 4 nights. I also stalked it multiple times over the last couple of days, including around 9 Eastern this morning, and that same one night was still missing. Tried again around 11 ET this morning and got it! Cancelled the WL, of course. Never got an email canceling the original reservation, also didn’t check to see whether that one pesky night was still available otherwise.
