What's the target sale? Did I miss something???

Still trying to figure out an online strategy. I'm mostly interested in the eMachines at Walmart (unless I can get one at Target on Sunday) and the $99 Nook at Best buy. I have already purchased a refurbished Nook for $99, but would rather get the new one. However, I am not willing to withstand the Best Buy camp out just to get that one item.

So, when should I start trying to get these things online? Some said Walmart had the Black friday stuff online on Thursday? What time? and what about Best Buy? When will their black friday stuff go online?

They have it at costco for $50 but that includes 100 darts. Now I have heard not so good reviews about it eating D batteries within a few hours so Im torn on buying it.

A laptop/netbook was on my dd11's list so this will be perfect. This is her first year in middle school and a few times a week she has reports to do on the computer. I got her the aquamarine.

As I stated in my other thread, I read on another board that Target will also offer this in next week's circular for a dollar more but i do not know if the info is reliable.

I usually use gottadeal.com's forums. They post deals all year long but once September hits, the open up their Black Friday forums. All ad scans and individual store/deal discussions can be found there. The owner stated that as BF gets closer, he'll open up a BF online "subforum". There is where they'll post start times for online shopping for each store.

My parents have a Vizio and it's a good TV. The only thing is that the remote for the cable box doesn't work with the TV (can't remember if there just wasn't a code for it or if the code didn't work). So you need to have an extra remote out to turn on the tv and switch between the functions.

I have a Vizio as well. It's a great TV and has a wonderful picture. I love the number of connections it has.

Mine also works fine with my comcast remote. There was a code for it in my case. The only thing that doesn't seem to work is switching inputs, but I can deal.

Target said (through the media) some time ago that they were having a bigger-than-usual "4-day sale" on the 4 days leading-up to Thanksgiving (Sunday, November 21 through Wednesday, November 24).

I haven't heard much buzz in the Black Friday world on this one (the ad will appear in Sunday newspapers, this weekend).

If anyone has a link, don't be coy about it....

Meijer has the Wii for $149 on Saturday after Thanksgiving. They also have Santa Bucks which have $20 off a purchase over $99.97 - which I think means the Wii will be $129 that day...I don't see where there are any exclusions on the Wii!!

I believe Target will have one for $85 on BF. If I remember correctly, it is a Phillips 7" dual screen.

Can someone help me with the Nintendo DSI - Lite? My son wants one for Christmas. I thought I was going to try to get the one for $89 at Walmart on Fri. but now someone tells me that is the old version "Lite" and that the DSI is the newer version (which is probably what my son wants) and has a camera and is not on sale but is $149. Also, someone on this thread has said Radio Shack has them on sale for $89 right now. Are these the old DS LITES as well? When I call my Radio shack, they said they are $149. They must be looking at the DSI? And NOW there is something newer than that which is the DSI XL which I know nothing about.

Anyone know if there is any good deals on the DSI. I didn't even think they sold the Lite anymore since the DSI came out - Is the walmart ad correct? I don't think I need the DSI XL, since my son doesn't even seem to know about it - but what is a good Black Fri. price for the DSI with the camera?

Thanks...I just finished reading some reviews on Vizio from Costco site and I am very surprised at all the negative marks they have. I am heavily leaning towards the Westinghouse if I decide on 40". Might pony up the money for extended warranty on it even though I am so so against them. Could give me little piece of mind that it'll be taken care of for a cpl years.

Got a consumer reports in the mail last week and it had the 55 in vizio highly rated. Gave it their "best buy". The Bravia got slightly higher marks with a much higher price tag

Thank YOU! I missed this....Looks like that price is only valid on White - I hope that color is ok with him....by the time I buy a different color case - I might as well buy a different color DSI.
