LOVE it!
I'm not familiar with this... can you tell me?
You get in line ASAP. And they start handing out tickets for the "limited big discount items" Like laptops, tv's ect. That way it's not a shoving match. If you have a ticket you get one.
However, you have to stay in line at most places. So depending on when they hand out tickets. (Staples last year did it one hour before open other do it closer to midnight)
Now the stores I have been to with this system have those "ticket items" behind the customer service desk. I don't know how Walmart would handle that?
This is great! I missed Black Friday last year, due to being at Disney (now that is a tough one, Black Friday or Disney, my two favorite things - other than DH & DD of course!)
I'd love a BF sale at the Apple store. DS could use a new laptop for college. I don't think our store has ever had a BF sale.
Thank you! I think I prefer this process. Last year I was pregnant on Black Friday but that did not stop people from pushing me around in the mad rush. One man took pity on me and made way for me so I could get a leapster. It was madness. It was my first year at a Black Friday sale but I was grateful because Santa was a winner even though times were tough. Thanks for the info!
