I received an email from BlackFriday.info that I thought wuold answer some of the questions on the thread. It's a neat site..they also have a wish list that is really helpful, if anybody wants to try it. Hope this helps!! I just copied and pasted the best parts for ya'll
We just wanted to send over a quick update on what to expect tonight going into Black Friday.
First, Best Buy has announced that they are putting their Black Friday items for sale online tonight starting around 1:00am EST - 2:00am EST (Thanksgiving morning). Some retailers will be putting their Black Friday items online even earlier.
The sale times include:
* Newegg.com sale starting at 6:00pm EST (Wednesday)
* Sam's Club sale starting at 11:00pm EST (Wednesday)
* Sears sale starting at 9:00pm EST (Wednesday)
* Walmart Thanksgiving Day Specials starting at 3:00am EST (Thanksgiving) * Walmart Black Friday sale starting at 3:00am EST (Black Friday)
* Toys R Us Black Friday sale starting at 12:01am EST (Thanksgiving)
* OfficeMax Black Friday sale starting at 8:00am EST (Thanksgiving)
* Target, Kohls, JC Penney, and other Black Friday sales will begin on Thanksgiving morning.
To help make your Black Friday shopping even easier, we just put together a "Shop by Circular" section on the Available Online page on BlackFriday.info. In this section, you can browse through the black friday advertisements and shop directly off of the circular. All you need to do is click the item you are interested in and it will immediately bring you to the item on the retailer's website. Keep in mind that most of the sales do not start till late Wednesday night or early Thanksgiving morning. Once the retailer's sale begins online, we will post a note on the circular to let you know that the Black Friday prices are now live.
Also, to help give you an edge this Black Friday, we brought back our product tracking tracking system which will watch for when the Black Friday items are available to purchase online and update our Available Online page with direct links to the products. Your personalized shopping list will also be updated to show you which products are available to purchase online right now. Black Friday items sell out very quickly, so we suggest that you bookmark our Available Online page (linked below) and check it often from midnight tonight right through Black Friday for an up to date list of what is available to purchase online. To see the latest Black Friday deals that are available online, go to: http://www.blackfriday.info/online/
If you go to the stores on Black Friday and find that an item you were looking for is sold out, there might still be a chance to get it. Throughout Black Friday and right through the weekend, many Black Friday items that are sold out in the stores will still be available to purchase online. Also, starting on Cyber Monday, we'll be posting a ton of deals from online merchants like Overstock.com, BestBuy.com, and Walmart.com.
Thanks for subscribing and please be sure to share this email or website with friends and family so they can enjoy this exciting week. BlackFriday.info
12:01am EST for Toys R Us question: when you put Thanksgiving in the parenthesis, do you mean tonight or tomorrow night? I thought it would be after Thanksgiving dinner, but now I'm confused...
IDK, I just copied and pasted it from the email. But from the way the following statement is worded, I assume that it will be 1 minute past midnight on Thursday night., which is actually Friday but to simplify they said Thanksgiving (Thursday) Anybody know for sure?
OK, the ads will be in the Thanksgiving paper. Can anybody in the West Georgia or Atlanta area tell me when they are usually in the store? Early, early Thanksgiving morning. I have to get it from WalMart or a gas station 20 minutes away.
And also, I want to get Rockband for PS3 for DD's at Walmart, which is open all day on Thanksgiving. It's not on the map on the WalMart website so I assume it's in the Electronics section. So what time should I be there? I'm thinking around 1:00 am. I'm pretty sure it MAY be a ticket item, so I'll need to hang around there. Then get my other stuff. Does this sound like a good plan?![]()
Anyone know if the IPOD Touches are online at Walmart?????
I believe it's the 5th generation??with regards to the ipod touch and all the generations....what generation is the newest?
TIA
So I've searched the ads for the best Wii system and not seeing much in the way of a "great deal".
Costco - $194.99
Walmart - $249 with 2 games and extra controller (but not sure if this is really a good deal...games are Mario/Sonic Olympic something and Family Gamenight2.)
Target $199.99 with $20 gc
Everyone else seems to be $199.99 for the basic unit or you have to purchase Wii Fit to get a gift card.
Am I missing something?
