Do not buy the Nextar 1GB Digital Mp3 Player - $11.48 mp3 player at Toy R Us because it junk. It will quit working after couple days. Plus buy now for the same price on sale this week besides buying Black Friday.

Wal-marts value of the day is a 8g i-pod touch for $149. Same price as TRU after you minus GC. Plus you can get it now w/o all the crazy, free shipping too.

Don't really have time to look back through the whole thread, but,what's the consensus on price adjustments? Are any stores doing it? Mostly thinking about Target, Wal Mart and Kohl's.
Anyone know for sure?

Wal Mar just announced that they will be open on Thanksgivng Day for early Black Friday shopping but they won't have the good sales till 5am Friday. They said they are staying open to avoid the long lines and the crush of people but I would think people will just be crushing each other inside the store in the check out lines instead of doing it ouside in the parking lot. Still haven't seen what the deals are though.

Walmart usually price matches...Others may do since hard times have hit...Discontinued layaway has been brought back n some stores

Are you signed up to get their e-mails? I have signed up and receiv e-mails from them alerting me to special deals like the laptop before. I can't say I have gotten one recently because I haven't been paying close attention to them though.

I just got one tonight at Best Buy for $329. It's an Acer but they also had Toshiba for the same price. Full size lap top with the new Windows.

Been reading all the ads, and nothing is wowing me - Im looking for a 42-47" LCD for around $500 - my walmart didnt have any last weekend....also, is Toys R us the best deal for the ipod touch? or the apples to apples game?

Any deals for buying a Wii?? Any gift card with purchase or bundles going on?? I've seen a few for xbox 360... none for Wii or PS3. A friend of mine wants to get a new TV and a Wii. There seems to be plenty of decent deals for TV's, just need to narrow it down to size and price he's willing to pay.

Any deals for Rock Band? It seems to be the one video game Kari wants this year. Of course she likes playing to drums the best, which is one of the things that doesn't get traded into GameStop very often. She's most interested in the Lego version because she likes those songs the best. I don't mind buying used from Gamestop, but I won't trust craig's list for a christmas present.

I'd also like to find a decent LCD monitor. But I don't think I can get away with spending 75$ or more on that. I'd even shrink back to a 15" monitor to spend under 50$.

First stop, Old Navy (3am). Now if I buy the rockband 2 to get the free guitar, does that count as a 20$ purchase to get the free lego rock band?? If not, I'll have to think of something to grab off the shelf, I'm not an Old Navy fan at all. And this will give me plenty of time to get in line at Best Buy, the Target by me is kind of small, usually not busy, and most go to the super Target just a few miles down the road in either direction of the ON/BB. So I hope I can get my hands on the TV.

Second stop: Best Buy (5am) for the Epson all in one printer, I've heard some downside stuff to epson, but we hardly do any printing, and my aunt's does a decent job. Can't beat 25$ for a printer that's selling for 70$ right now. Of course I might spend a few dollars more if some one can point out a good one that has the memory card reader built in, since we don't have one of those.

Third stop: Target (5am) for the Apex 40" LCD tv for 449$. The ad shows GE HDMI cables for 10$ is it worth it??

yeah, they are compatible. the drums have slightly different controls. Like you get a symbol on guitar hero, and a foot pedal on the rock band version. I think that's the only difference. It'll tell you on the box if they're compatible.
