Rosie here...
Only 1lb this week but not bad considering I was in the dumps and didn't do much of anything... did cut out the oreos though...
Have a great weekend...
GO Blue!

no I'm not doing anything special for my calorie counting..........just a page in the journal and calorieking.com Of course I'm drinking lots of water, eating 5-7 fruits and veggies each day, moving my body, and such.

I know most dont read all of these but I thought I would just type something up for the fabulous day that I had! Here's what made it so great:
1) I tracked all of my calories for the third day in a row........this is HUGE!!! I've done 3 days so I CAN do 4 days!
2) I was at the mall today w/ the little kiddos and got them each a small bag of candy from SweetFactory. Normally I would get myself a small bag but I passed. I even picked up a few packaged items and looked at the calories to find something low (100ish), never found anything that low, so I passed!!
3) I'm refusing to cook super "light" for the family on my account (DH would piss and moan the night away). Tonight I stuck w/ what I had planned; cheese raviolis, garlic bread, and salad. The "old" me would have filled most of her plate w/ raviolis and garlic bread but I actually checked the calories for both of those items and ended up filling my plate w/ salad, taking only one serving/4 raviolis, and completely passing on the garlic bread!! :cheer2:
4) Finally, DH has some of his buddies over and they're drinking beer and eating Ruffles w/ delicious french onion dip. At first I was going to have some but then completely passed all together! Instead of that un-needed snack and those unwanted calories I'm giving myself this:

:flower3: Hooray Melissa, you did great. Go to bed now feeling proud and have a fabulous day tomorrow!

Good news is - hubby's plane is coming in tomorrow at 7:50pm.

So happy to hear that he is for sure coming in...I know you all will be so happy to see him. Also sorry to hear about your DD's car experience...I am sure it was a lesson learned though.

A question for all of you. How did you decide what your goal weight would be?

I haven't set an ultimate goal yet...I am going to take baby steps and think that 10pds at a time is a good goal for me. I get overwhelmed thinking about the big number.

WTG everyone on their losses...if you didn't lose or had a gain, remember that we all will probably be going through it, things happen, it could be many things that caused it even if you were eating well, exercising, etc. Each day is a new one and never feel like you let anyone down.

I dont normally celebrate for a whole week but because I have been off work the celebrations have dragged on lol.

So to work now I am going to make a batch of wholemeal blueberry muffins and carrot cake. The muffins are for breakfast with a glass of OJ and the cake is for afternoon snacks. They are both from low GI cooking books and the aim is they slowly release energy throughout the day.

Later on today I will be walking to the town and back to swap a birthday present as I already have it then I need to come back and get the house all tidy to start my new healthy life tomorrow lol.

njmom23grls-Hope your sister gets well soon.

princess vija-I've learned that we are all here for the same reason. It is great to be with such a great group that understands our ups and downs. I just checked, The Amazing Race starts next Sunday September 28th at 8pm est.

melissa-Great job on the supper & snacks. I'm also not changing my supper menu. I'm like you and just try not to fill my plate up as much.

bellybee-How do you make your wholemeal blueberry muffins?

I got up and decided that I was going to walk outside this morning (58 degrees). I ate a bowl of instant oatmeal and walked/jogged (a little) for 2 miles. I just took my shower, ate some yogurt and now I'm drinking my water. I hope everyone has a great day!

The blueberry muffins are a new recipe I have yet to try

I went out shopping with my mom today and she decided to invest in a treadmill. That will of course benefit me as well since we live in the same house so I will get to use it too. ;)

Hi all,

Congrats to everyone on all of the hard work you put in. Whether the scales showed it or not, you're doing things to make yourself healthier!! I dropped 3.5 lbs this week which I'm very happy with...onward and upward.

To our fearless leaders--keep up the fantastic work.

My plan continues to be the same. I try to keep my calorie intake between 1200-1500/day and to work out for 45 min-1 hour daily. It's been working so far. One thing I seriously need to work on is getting my water in as I am a serious Diet Pepsi addict.

A question for all of you. How did you decide what your goal weight would be? Was it a weight you were comfortable at in the past, a number on the BMI chart, a recommendation from your doctor or WW???? I'm having a really hard time determining what I should shoot for.

Have a great week losers!!
Jen

Greetings from the other Diet Pepsi addict!:cool1: My goal was decided based upon my lowest weight about 18 months ago. I lost a bunch of weight basically having an amicable separation from Ben and Jerry and going to the gym/walking almost every day. The my walking buddy quit on me (and won't tell me why after TWO years), my mom got sick and since she lives in another state it's really stressful (refuses to move here, not an option), and I just plain ole lost my motivation. So when I saw this I thought... this would be fun and it gives me some accountability...

Go blue!

I don't have time right now to go back through all the posts, I will try to do that later tonight, just checking in.

I was down 1.2 this week, the biggest loss I've had in a long time. I've been managing to listen to my body and stop when I am full, even if I haven't been exactly counting points. (Tomorrow). My blood sugar has been higher than usual all week, I only test when I wake up, so I'm going to have to go back to testing multiple times a day. I think I might be experiencing the Dawn Phenomenon, so I may have to add in a snack before bedtime. Anybody else with diabetes/prediabetes encountered this?

I lost 2 pds this week and was so encouraged to see the scale moving in the downward way. This week, I focused on getting my water in and tried to each more fruits and veggies and watched my portions.

I loved the reading the posts this week and getting to know each other. I think you are a great captain and either way you reply works...I say do what is easier for you.

I bet we can beat that post number this week.

:cool1: Great job on the two pound loss! That's the way to do it, one step a time. Keep up the good work.

Hi everybody! I lost 3 lbs this week!!!! I am so excited! :dance3:

Congratulations TammyNC!:yay:

What went well: I drank half water and half diet soda this week. I also watched my calories and made some lower fat, lower calorie substitutions. I have an addiction to ice cream so what I did was buy some ice cream cones (20 calories 0 fat) and bought Breyers fat free ice cream. I found that using a cone kept my serving size down and yet I was satisfied (the fat free ice cream is quite yummy). If I made it through the day without falling off the wagon I rewarded myself with some ice cream after dinner. I didn't feel like I was cheating myself out of anything and I fell well within the allowed calories/points.

My goal for next week: I need to drink more water and I am going to try to get a pedometer over the weekend and walk at least 3 times next week.

Princess Vija: I like either way. You are doing a great job! :worship: There is no way that I could have kept up the way you did. I have really enjoyed getting to know everyone and realizing they are having the same challenges. It is great support.

I am looking forward to our continued success! GO BLUE TEAM!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

:cheer2: That's an awesome loss! I like your ice cream idea. One of the things that WW and my dietician stressed is that there are no "off limit" foods, you just need to make smarter choices.

I lost 6 pounds this week. I can't believe it - I'm beyond excited.:yay:

I personally love the personal replies. It's great motivation.

I hope everyone had a great week. Off to PM Brenda.

:woohoo: Six pounds?! That's amazing!

Congratulations to you losers!!!

I had a small loss this week of 0.2. Not bad considering TTOM is this weekend.

Last week I focused on getting my water in and starting a strength training routine.

This week I plan to add cardio to the list.

I haven't been tracking calories but I have been keeping track of what I have been eating. I really think the lack of exercise is my biggest issue.

I'm off to fill up my water and I'll check back in later.

Happy Friday!!

Sabrina

:yay: Even a small loss is a loss. Great job! Do you have a friend that you can exercise with, even if it is something as simple as taking a walk? What about your lunch breaks? My father's work is close to a lot of restaurants, so he and his coworkers trek up the large hill to the restaurants every day.

Congrats to all!!
I am the same this week, but I knew I would be. With dh leaving unexpectedly and 'lady stuff' it was not a good week.
I will do better for my team next week! :cool2:

:dance3: I'll take a maintain over a gain any day! You'll do great this week!

Hi guys.

Gained .6 last night :(

They told me it was normal after a big loss last week (13 lbs due to sickness) but I made some really bad choices this week - like downing a big load of muffin batter while baking (funny - I control the baked product just fine, its the batter!), and a big feed of pancakes Monday morning instead of walking with about a 3/4 c of syrup! Not good.

Also did not count points consistently - but I wrote down everything I ate and did earn a lot of activity points, so not all bad.

I am really motivated to eat healthy now.

So for this week:

a) I will count points faithfully - no matter how high they get;

b) I will follow training plan faithfully - have to walk around tomorrow raising money for the Arthritis Society (we are charity walkers) and cannot work out Monday as track is closed for an event and I have to take my cat to the vet in the evening.

BUT - thats the extent of my excuses (I am confessing them now).

I will report each workout daily if that is ok.

c) I will limit "big desserts" (non WW) to weekends and then count the points.

And I am determined to check in this time, each week, no matter what.

Princess Vija - just keep doing what you are doing - anything you do is fine, you are a terrific captain and a marvelous motivater.

Have a magical losing day folks. I intend to.

Linda

:tinker: :donald: :dumbo: :mickeyjum

I'm sorry to hear about yoru gain, but it happens. Even if you use the same scale there will be weeks when you will do every single thing right and will still show a agin. I see at meetings all the time, and I believe it has even hapened on the real BL from time to time. On WW e-Tools they have a way to track your weight over time, complete with a little chart. It's great because you can look at your loss over a period of time. I think everybody should do that, it will help you keep things in perspective if you have a bad week.

We all made it through Week 1!:goodvibes

I lost 1.2 pounds. I bought a pedometer last weekend and challenged myself to walk 10,000 steps per day. Yesterday I did 12,500! I also tried to drink more water and less coffee.

I fly down South tomorrow for work. I will be gone the whole week. I am planning on checking in with you-all at least a couple of times. I know I have a challenge ahead with having to eat all my meals out at restaurants. It's harder for me to stay on-track when I am out of town. It's also a struggle to find my way to the hotel exercise facility each day. But, I am determined to do my 10,000 steps!

Way to go Sabrina, Goofy, Tammy and Leamom! I like how everyone has their own plan and doing what works for them. I really like hearing about all the different approaches. Please keep it up.:thumbsup2

Princess Vija - I think you are doing a terrific job! I also think you should do what ever works best for you. Thanks also to our assistant leader!

I hope everybody has a wonderful weekend!

Donna

 Great job on the loss! Do your best while you're out of town, but if you slip up occasionally, don't beat yourself up over it. It's hard to stay on track while you are away from home.

Congrats to you losers! And don't worry about small gains -- it's part of the territory. All that matters is you stick to it, even if you fall off the wagon. And by the way, I do love muffin batter as well! :)

I lost two pounds this week and am so happy with it! I've started exercising, which for me was a big deal, and I am limiting my 'TV snacks' which is always my weakness. I've switched to lite popcorn or a string cheese snack. And that seems to do the trick.

Congrats again ladies!

:thumbsup2 Great job on your loss. I like the limiting of the TV snacks, especially the part where you didn't eliminate, just made smarter choices. That is what a lifestyle change is all about!

Hi everyone,

I posted this on the previous thread before I realized there was a new one. I'm such a noob!!! :rotfl:

I have to report that I'm sorry I let you guys down this week. I actually gained 2 lbs. I've been watching what I eat and have worked out the last 3 mornings, but when I got on the scale this morning it was up 2. Of course (here goes the rationalization) it was a different scale (found one I can use all the time now because I don't own one at home) so maybe that had something to do with it? I'm hoping.

I'm sorry I let you guys down.

Princess Vija, I think you're doing a great job as team leader!!! I don't know how you find time to keep up with the thread, but you're doing excellent at it!!!

You didn't let anybody down. No reason to be sad. Gains are a part of life. The important thing is what you do after the gain, do you let yourself give up, or do you look forward to the new week? :grouphug:

Congratulations everyone, if you didn't loose this week - start over again, this is a lifestyle change. We are following the Biggest Loser not the Amazing Race (which I love also).

I lost 2 pounds. I walked on my breaks at work with some of my coworkers. Our building is very long, so we would do the length of the building twice in the morning and then twice again in the afternoon. I drank A LOT of water, I think that really helped me - but it made me visit the bathroom more.

I plan on adding more exercise this week. I didn't do very well on my treadmill last week. Princess Vija, you are doing great - do what is easiest for you.

Good luck this next week - Blue team rocks!

Great job! :yay: I like the walking on breaks at work, it's great that your coworkers are in the act!

[I tried posting this once but it never appeared so hopefully it's not a duplicate; don't worry, I will eventually get the hang of this board!]

Prior to committing to the challenge and joining, I was watching what I ate. I weighed myself on Monday but didn’t join until later in the week—I’m very pleased with a 1.5 pound loss! This coming week I will definitely be on track by drinking all my water, counting calories and starting a walking program (I love the Walk Away the Pounds tapes).

Friday in our office is donut day…lots of donuts and bagels. I decided today to eat oatmeal and a fruit cup. Since I’ve had experience with weight watchers and other programs I know what I’m supposed to do and eat—it’s just doing it. I have to get it in my head that this needs to be about a change in my lifestyle not just a diet to get to a certain weight loss. So my philosophy going into this is to now look ahead and make better choices. Not just about what foods I eat but how much I eat. I don’t want to deprive myself of something because then I feel like I’m missing it…so I will eat it if I want but I will think “is it worth it?” before I eat it. I am also going to try to look at the whole week ahead of me. If I know that I’ll be going to a clambake next Saturday, then the whole week before I am going to try to make really good choices so I can enjoy the clambake. I feel like I’m all talk—I know what it is I’m supposed to do but I don’t always do it! That leads me to the thank yous…

Thank you to everyone who posted on Blue Team week 1. Your posts were encouraging to me. Sometimes I feel like I’m the only one out there who needs to lose so much weight—and who struggles with it. Sometimes, too, it doesn’t feel like it’s only a physical thing but a mental thing. When I’m doing good and am losing weight, I feel (mentally) on top of the world—positive and confident and strong. But when I have failed at it, I then feel so low—negative and weak and unsure of myself. Reading the posts really helped and I am SO glad I found this thread and all of you wonderful people. Thank you so much for sharing.:flower3:

Great job on your loss! :flower3: I love how you were able to resist the donuts, that's hard to do! Give yourself a big pat on the back!

I am down 5 pounds:banana:  That means I have lost 10 pounds in two weeks! I have never done that before and the best part it is the time of month I usually have a small gain.

What have I been doing...really focusing on my foods…and drinking large amounts of water instead of diet soda…I would drink at least 3 liters of diet pepsi or ginerale a day…well the past two weeks I have been drinking that in water and just one glass of soda in the night time as my treat. I haven’t been counting calories or sodium intact but that’s because I already have a good idea what most foods are.

Great job on your loss! :cool1: 10 lbs in two weeks is amazing!

Hi everyone,

I lost 3.8 this week. Thank you so much to everyone. There were many times this week that I thought about eating something I shouldn't, but then when I thought about the Blue Team and that I needed to do this for me, I was able to find that strength.

I'm so happy considering that I didn't get fully on board till Tuesday. It took me a few days of cheating to get everything under control.

Last night I was so tempted to cheat because I was so stressed. My TOM is coming anyday. My son had football 6-8, my daughter had cheer from 7-9 and I had a cheer parents meeting from 7-8 (had to leave early to get my son). I don't get home till almost 6pm, so I had to make a mini-snack when I got home so my son was a few minutes late. After I picked up my son we went to wait for my daughter at the High School. When she came out at 9:10, I was on the phone because a friends ex-husband was (who are the parent's of my son's best friend) was supposed to take my son to a football game tonight. I was not having luck getting in touch with him, so I called my friend (who is not really my friend-more like someone I tolerate - She is not the best parent in my opinion and drives me insanse often). As I was listening to her rant about her ex, my daughter came out and wanted to drive (she has her permit). I was trying to get off the phone, but was having a hard time. Instead of waiting for me to get off, my daughter starts the car and is going to pull out. I told her to stop because I could feel the car going forward. She said she was, but apparently she got the gas mixed up with the brake. So she hit the parked car in front of her. Some damage, although both cars are pretty minor.

Shook us all up - my daughter cried last night and then looked really sad today. It really scared her.

Good news is - hubby's plane is coming in tomorrow at 7:50pm. I am taking off tonight and just taking my son myself. My daughter has a High School football game tonight in town, so she is staying after shchool till the game with some friends and then her and her friends are going out to dinner after the game. This buys me the time I need to get back into town to pick her up. Next week can only be better - I'm so looking foward to it :)

First of all, congratulations on your loss! :dance3: I'm glad we could help you stay motivated. They say that you lose more weight when you have a support group, and now we know why!

Second: :grouphug: You sound like you had a trying week. Give your daughter a hug for all of us, that's not a fun thing, but it is a learning experience and I bet she'll never do that again!

I dropped 3lbs.... wooohooo!!!

Plan- Atkins
BF- Full fat Whole Milk yogurt with a sugar Free Syrup
Lunch- Low carb Pizza bowl (no dough)
Dinner- Chef Salad with egg, cheese, tom, spinach, bacon, ham and turkey with Regular ranch dressing.

I plan on grilling up some juicey fat steaks this weekend, I usually get a whoosh loss from that. Maybe make coleslaw or brocoli slaw... and Sweet potato fries! DA BOMB!

Mmmmm, steak. It's a good thing I just ate dinner! Congratulations on your loss, 3 lbs is amazing!

No change for me this week. :confused3 I exercised and I watched what I was eating, :confused3 I figure it is just going to take a bit longer to show results. Hopefully I will have a lose to report at next weeks check-in. :thumbsup2

I'll take a maintaing over a gain any day! It might be that it's going to take longer to show, or it could just be one of those weeks. I see it all the time at WW, somebody will do everything exactly right and there will be a week when they maintain or even gain.

Are you measuring portions and keeping a food jorunal? I find that I do much better when I do because it becomes very easy to understimate the amount of food I'm eating and forget all those little "BLT's" (Bites, Licks, and Tastes.) Good luck this week!

I'm down 2.4 and the main thing that I did this week was count calories instead of WW points. I think i'm in a "rut" w/ my WW so I'm giving it a break. So far it looks like calorie counting is working for me.

Congrats to all of you and dont be discouraged for those that didnt lose! Go ahead and blame it on the new scale ;) but only for this week, right??

I'm on day 3 of tracking EVERY BIT OF FOOD THAT GOES IN TO MY MOUTH and I'm proud to say that I really, really have tracked it all! Even the bite of my son's yogurt covered pretzel!

You have to do what works for you. I find that many people as they get comfortable with the program allow their portions to start sliding. Calorie Counting will help you get back to the regular portion sizes! Anyway, excellent job on your weight loss! :woohoo:

Due to health issues, I'm a verrrrry slow loser, so as long as the numbers don't go up, I consider the week a win. That being said, I did drop a half pound this week. :)

Things that I did well were drinking lots and lots of water and walking every day.

One thing that did not go so well was my half-baked idea that I'd lose more if I switched to low carb eating. I tried that for 3 days and stuck with it perfectly...until 3:00 p.m. rolled around. Each day at almost exactly the same time, I went on a major carb binge and ate lots of the snacks I keep in my desk. (The good news is that I keep only the 100 calorie snack packs. the bad news is I ate at least 4 of 'em every day!) I'm switching back to my Weight Watchers Flex plan tomorrow.

So, the scale didn't go up, and I learned a lesson about the eating plan that works best for me. Hopefully I will post bigger numbers for the blue team next week.

Go Blue! :cool1:

:yay: Great job your weight loss! Even without health issues a half pound is great rate of loss. WW tells us that anything from .5-2lbs a week should be considered normal, so you're doing fine.

If you want to try low carb, it doesn't have to be difficult. I have to watch my carbs now because of prediabetes, and I've found that it's really not as difficult as I anticipated. It seems most foods are either way too high in carbs to be worth it, or they're very reasonable and I am able make smart choices. Do what works for you. One suggestion might be to only take one 100 calorie pack with you to work. That way you will be forced to stop after you eat just one.

I have gained 1lb this week which is not bad considering it is my birthday week.
I will be on track from Sunday so wish me luck.

I will be checking in a lot more often then.

Sorry about the gain, but I love your attitude! This week is a new week, and you will do great! :cheer2:

I dropped 3lbs!!!

I cut out sweets and soda all together. But I'm eating everything else like I used to, just smaller portions. Now I am 20lbs under my pre-pregnancy weight!!!

-nat

That is awesome! 20lbs under your prepregnancy weight? Give yourself a pat on the back girl! :cool1: Clearly, I need to not type when I'm tired. I got distracted for a moment and then thought to myself, "wait a minute, how do I know this poster is a woman?" (I have a terrible tendency to assume that every poster is female). Then I realized we were talking prepregnancy weight, so unless there's something you're not telling us.... :lmao:

Hi!
I am up 1 pound this week....hoping it is due to being PMS. I usually gain up to 7 pounds during this week, so hopefully I will lose next week. :)

PMS is killer, isn't it? I find that I get so ravenous when I'm PMSing. Here's ot a better week. :grouphug:

Hi everyone,

So, I am home from work reporting in... long day at work, stayed 2hours over! Now I want to just sleep....

Anyway, I stayed the same this week.:headache: That frustrates me as I know I made some good choices, but apparently not enough. I didn't track my food/points and I see that makes a big difference.

What worked well for me was not eating out as much as we have in the past. With the economy tanking like it is, we are trying to avoid going out.

I was on call ALOT this past week, and I didn't get out to walk like I wanted to, so I plan on getting in some walking this weekend.

I also plan on trying to get in more fruits. I am a fruit snob. I like strawberries and bananas. (raspberries and blueberries, but those are either super expensive or not around) (canned fruits too, but I don't want the sugar) So I am going to work very hard at getting in some more fruit.

At least the number didn't go up. You'll do a lot better this week. The important thing is that you are able to look back at what you did this week and see where you could do better.

I lost 3 lbs. this week. Yea!! What worked for me was planning. I love me some evening snacks, so I planned for those first and worked backwards. Tonight I'm having a Skinny Cow ice cream sandwhich and some Smart Pop popcorn (thanks to whoever suggested it. It's not inedible.)

Those of you who didn't lose or gained: most of us will be right there sometime, don't feel bad. Your honesty makes it easier for the rest of us who struggle to be honest too. Keep persevering!

Thanks Princess!! Your encouragement has been really motivating.

Good luck this weekend, everyone. Must not visit movie theater for popcorn, must not visit movie theater for popcorn....

 I love how you started with your most difficult time of day and worked backwards.

Jen

First, congrats on your weight loss! :cool1: Second, I chose my goal weight based on both the WW range and also where I felt comfortable with my body. It's on the lower end of my range, so I may change it as I lose the weight and see how I look and feel. Most plans recommend making a 10% weight loss your first goal, and then reassessing after you reach it.

I'm down 2.2 this week. I went to a very inspirational WW meeting this am and will try to sort of synthasize the talk. I left with more motivation and belief in self than I have felt in a long time. I usually can not wait to bolt from a meeting but it was a sub speaker who was fantastic. He really spoke from the heart about why we negative self talk and the things we do to set ourselves up for failure and how to turn that to a positive self esteem building part of our journey. I'll post what I can remember tomorrow - I have some issues right now- my sister is in the hospital again and i need to focus my attention there at the moment. Have a super weekend everyone

Lisa

:cheer2: Awesome job on the loss! I'm glad that you were able to get so much out of your meeting.

Rosie here...
Only 1lb this week but not bad considering I was in the dumps and didn't do much of anything... did cut out the oreos though...
Have a great weekend...
GO Blue!

I want you to take that word only out of your vocabulary! A healthy rate of weight loss is .5-2lbs a week, you are doing great! :dance3:

Lost 1.5 pounds. Slow start but ready for more!!

See above post. 1.5 isn't slow, it's right on track. In the real world, that is a great rate of loss!

Whew, I'm caught up! :surfweb:

I think what worked this week was simply paying better attention to what I ate and (sort of) counting the carbs. I did not count points and did go over my carbs, mostly due to soda use, so I was not anticipating a big loss. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised!

Specific things that helped me:

1.) I keep boxes of individual packets of cereal and oatmeal in my classroom. On days when I don't have enough time for breakfast (most days) I just grab one and have that when I get to school.

2.) When I go out to eat I have them bring a box with the meal and immediately box up half of it before I take a bite. I now have a meal for another day, and I am not tempted to overeat.

I think my biggest problem has been fatigue and feeling under th weather. I have not been getting to bed early enough and that is my goal this week. I also am going to plan out my days in advance (in pencil so I can change if need be), I find that I do much better if I go in with a plan. Even if I don't stick to it 100%, it helps me make good choices.

While planning out my day tomorow, I was watching Disney Channel and saw that htey are coming out with a HSM 2 Deluxe Dance Edition. They teach you the moves to the dances so that you can dance along with the DVD. I think this is a great idea for a way to get in exercise! I used to be a dancer (and performed for Disney for 2 CPs). I tried going back last year, but I felt like an elephant next to all the skinny minis, so now it is just something I do privately.

Anyway, this might be something for people to look into. It's a great way to enjoy Disney and be active at the same time. You can even get your kids in on the act, and they won't even know they are exercising! (Yes, I am diabolical).

Well, I didn't loss nor gain this week. I've been at this weight for about 3 weeks now. It's time for me to change my excercise routine around, plus with my surgery this coming Friday I really haven't wanted to work out. My eating habits are the same we eat pretty healthy lots of organic foods, no junk food in the house. My husband and I will share a soda if we dine out that's about 2 times a week. After my surgery and I get the ok to excercise I will be getting a gym membership and really working out to get ready for our cruise in Feb.

Well today is day one for me and it is going well but only a couple of hours in lol.

So far I have had a slice of carrot cake and a cup of tea for breakfast as pictured above.

I will be having cheese salad in a pitta bread for lunch and chicken with pasta for dinner.
I can then have pasta salad for lunch tomorrow as I will make loads.

I have some snacks planned to a banana and a snack a jack cheese rice cake with mini cheeses. If needed I can have a lasting satisfaction yogurt to help me feel full.

I had planned on just eating sensibly etc but as I have input all this on my calorie counter this also allows me to stay within my current calorie allowance to lose 2lbs a week.

I realise the above is a lot of food but I am very very overweight at least 100lbs possible 150lbs and as such my calorie intake gets to be higher kinda like getting more WW points when you are big.

This helps me as I am a snacker and often feel sick or dizzy if I dont eat every coupla hours.

Hope everyone is having a good day
