Bl 7.1 purple team!!!!!

Hello Purple Team!
I just wanted to let you know that I am helping the Green Team with a logo. I got the sweetest PM this afternoon and long story short, I've made up a couple of clippies for them to consider as well. I thought it might be nice if their logo were stylistically similar to ours while being, obviously, green. Just wanted you to hear it here first. I certainly hope this is not seen as a betrayal of our alliance! :eek: :laughing: And I definitely didn't want anyone to think the green team had copied our designs without my participation. If they even go with my design, that is.

Speaking of OUR designs - what time does voting close today? As of right now, it looks like Eeyore has it by a nose!

QOTD Friday: How did your week go and what is one thing that you can change for next week?[/SIZE]

I'm going to go ahead and answer Friday's question already. My week went okay. I think I ate pretty well, but do need to add in more exercising. The thing I'm changing is I joined WW online and will be tracking my food and exercising. I'm sure I'll find out I haven't been eating as well as I thought I was. I'm hoping to have lost my vacation weight at tomorrow's weigh-in.

QOTD Friday: My week startd out strong with exercise, but has kind of petered out. My eating has been all over the place. Next week I am going to get my eating right, and make sure I have enough energy to workout all week, not just the first half.

Not good. I started out okay, I even journalled some, but the end result was a +1.5 :sad2: I know that having to sit all day for a workshop didn't help, and when I was done, the knee was hurting too much to do anything. Next week, I plan on a better journalling average, and a bit more movement. I'm not planning on huge differences, just a bit more.

Me- Weigh in this morning, I was down 1.2 lbs. It's not going to get me thrown off the ranch - only .3 pounds until I'm into the 160's. I can hardly stand it! :Pinkbounc Does this count as reporting weight or do we also have to PM it to our fearless leader, Jessi?

Yesterday I registered for a 5K that is happening tomorrow. It's the Challenge Obesity 5K and this organization has voluntary separate divisions for heavier racers - and by heavier, I mean a woman over 145. Which is darned close to my goal weight. :rolleyes1 I'll be wearing WISH green, but I'll be thinking of the BL Purple Team, for sure!
 
I weighed in this morning and had a loss of 1.5. I had hoped for more, but after playing around with the WW website, I realized that I haven't been eating as well as I thought I was.

Corinna - My understanding is that we're supposed to PM Jessi with our new weights each week. Have fun in your run tomorrow. :goodvibes
 
Hi everyone! I had a great week, down 3.2 pounds! Woo hoo! Of course I have had the flu for the past 7 days...I really want to NOT gain back what I've lost though. It is amazing how small of a portion I really need to eat to be satisfied and healthy, NOT the sizes they show on commercials that's for sure! Things are going great right now, everything is falling back into place in my life.


My one thing I'm going to change for next week - write down what I eat!!

I had a very good week, which was reflected on the scale (which we all know isn't always the case). I exercised 7 of the past 8 days and I journaled all of my food every day. I had a BL weigh-in at school on Monday, which kept me on track REALLY well last weekend.

Next week....hmmm..... First of all, I am going to try to fluctuate my points more. I tried this week, but I stayed at 18-20 every day (except the day my DD brought home peanut M&Ms... that day I ended up at 22 pts). I think having at least two days a week (usually Friday and Mon or Tues for me) of having higher points keeps your body burning calories more efficiently. I have looked at the Wendie's plan and have used a modified version of that in the past. I will take another look at it this week.

I also have been doing about 45 minutes of exercise a day (combined walking and running, yoga, and a little strength training). I need to up that to at least 60 minutes per day. That will be TOUGH to fit in.... especially this week. I will committ to AT LEAST 60 minutes on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and NO LESS THAN 30 minutes each on Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I would commit to more, but I've got to get my house ready for Easter company!

OH SHOOT... I just re-read you QOTD... you asked for ONE THING I could change. Oh well, as usual I got carried away.

1.5 is a great loss! I hope you find the etools as useful as I have. I don't think I could manage without at this point!

pjlla - You're correct, to try and mix up your daily points; at least that's what I read in Jillian's book this week.

Corinna - So far, I'm really enjoying the etools. Having to enter all the food is a real eye opener for me. I did my normal breakfast and lunch foods, and then have to figure out a dinner that will keep me within my points.

Yes, I've got her Wii one, and I didn't do it this week, and instead did some step aerobics with handweights and walking with the kids.

QOTD: I Love everything about the Disney Parks, especially the parades, and fireworks. I love watching the characters interact with my kids. It truly is a magical place. The Cruise ship and Castaway Cay are amazing as well. hard to pick between the 2

I'm glad that the weight loss is happening for you (even if you were sick.) I hope you start feeling better soon if you'e not already.

Well.... I had a Lia Sophia party to go to last night and I have another one Sunday afternoon! Not really my thing, but they are both friends, so I go to support them and to enjoy the social time.

Since I have decided to host Easter, today will be GARAGE CLEANING day :scared1: I know that most people don't clean their garages when they have dinner company :rotfl: but it is out of control! I had a rather unsuccessful yardsale last fall (we live in the boondocks) and the things that I didn't take to the Goodwill (they weren't taking ANY toys at the time) and things I thought I might sell elsewhere are still sitting in the garage! I talked to the GW and they are taking toys now, so the car will get loaded with the toys and I will take a trip to the GW on Monday. The other larger things I will take a picture of and try to post a "for sale" notice at work. Everything else hits the TRASH!

I have a choice of asking/demanding help from my family and end up being the big *itch and making everyone mad at me.... or being the martyr and just doing it all myself. Not sure which direction I'm going to go. Maybe I'll do the garage, make the kids work on their bedrooms, and wait and see if DH offer to help with ANYTHING...:lmao: Yeah, right.

Other than the LS party tomorrow, it will just be continued cleaning. I'll probably hit the playroom and mudroom tomorrow. I've already done my bedroom and the dining room. Hopefully they will STAY clean until next weekend and will only need a quick dusting and vacumming on Friday.

The Disney store had a special yesterday with plush Thumper on sale for $5 with any $25 purchase. So guess who my Easter centerpiece will be?!!

Anyhow, thanks for asking! I'm gonna go hit the Wii Fit Yoga before the rest of the gang gets up!.......................P
