Birthday question

I booked all my meals and the woman on the phone added to each that it was my son's birthday. We will be in Disney for the big day but she made sure to tell all the resturants that it was his birthday. I was not sure if that is just the way they do things in Disney, since we have never been before.

Will our table servers remember or be told it is his special week, or do they do anything for birthday's at all? I want to know what to expect so I can let my very interested 6 year old know what to expect.

 Thanks

Sometimes they'll bring out a cupcake for the birthday person for dessert.

I you'd like to guarantee something, or want cake for everyone, call the restuarant a few days in advance and order a cake for a nominal fee.

Your ds is going to love having his birthday at WDW!! My dd turned 6 in WDW back in '99!! We had dinner at the Crystal Palace. I had mentioned that she was having her birthday when I called to make the ADRs. When we got there, at the end of her meal, the server brought out a cupcake with a candle on it, a bunch of CMs gathered around and sang a birthday song and presented her with a card signed by Pooh and his buddies.
If you want something more, then you should plan it on your own. I have even heard that some people have had no cupcakes brought out even though a birthday was noted on their ADR. You may want to mention it when you arrive at the podium to check in for your meal that day. Have fun!!!!
