I hope this is posted in the right place, I didn't know where else to put it. This is my first post on here, and our first trip to WDW(its a dream come true for me). We're going at the end of May and have a few questions about celebrating my daughter's fourth b-day. I know the day of her birthday we can get her a birthday pin, but what about the rest of the week? Since we are hitting a diffrent park everyday, can we go to Guest relations and get one every day? Also, we have dinner reservations at Chef Mickey's on her birthday, our travel agent said she made a notation on the reservation when she made it for us, but should we tell someone else? Think we should mention to the resort(staying @ Movies) people? Hope this post wasn't to long...sure I'll have a lot more questions the closer we get. Thanks

Welcome!

We celebrated my dd birthday a couple of years ago at dw. You can get a pin from every park. My daughter wore pins the whole week we were there. I also ordered a t-shirt from disney store, the kind you can custom make, and it said something like "I'm celebrating my birthday at disneyworld". I also called the resort and told them about her birthday and when we got back from the parks, there was a balloon and card from Mickey in our room. We also had dinner at Chef Mickeys and they make a big deal about birthdays there, so make sure you mention when it when you first arrive. We ordered a cake from Chef Mickeys, but as I remember it was pretty expensive.

Hope this helps, have a wonderful time and take lots of pictures!!!

We have been 2x to WDW when it was DS' bday. We got him the birthday pin and the special birthday hat they sell in the Disney Apparel stores. Between the pin and the hat EVERYONE Disney-Wise noticed him and gave him anything from "front of the line priviledge", to stickers, to calling him up on stage, to giving him a round of applause, to singing to him at dinner. The CM's (cast members) are FABULOUS with those celebrating their birthday. We had BREAKFAST at Chef Mickey's for DS' bday and they characters were all over him. Many, many memories and photos. You can absolutely mention this to Concierge when you check in. I actually just wanted to see if they would put a cake in our room BUT as I was mentioning his bday...IMMEDIATELY we were UPGRADED to CONCIERGE LEVEL at the Wilderness Lodge. WOW, we were thrilled. WHAT A SURPRISE!!! We were gone all day at the Parks and got back to our room and there was a HUGE chocolate cake, balloons and a card with a 5x7 photo of all the WDW characters ALL SIGNED. Oh, did I mention he was 18 y.o. at the time and he was in H E A V E N!!!

I am a little confused as to the "pin" for every day of the week?? If her bday is on such and such a day, I only think Disney will give you the PIN for that day of her actual birthday. Would she get confused if you were to celebrate her bday for 7 days straight....hhmmm!!!

DS' bday is Dec 30th, so we went once when he turned 16 and again at 18 (Xmas Break)!! WDW is the MOST fabulous place ever to celebrate a birthday.

Last year, we were there the week before my 30th birthday. Since we were parking hopping, I decided I wanted a pin from the various parks. All I said to Guest Relations was that "we are celebrating " my birthday -- not once did I say that it was my birthday. I got a pin every time! It was so much fun!

Also, when we were at Cindy's Royal Table, they had streamers and confetti all over the table. I have tons of pictures!

Have fun! Oh yeah, make sure she gets a special phone call from Goofy wishing her a happy birthday!

What better place to celebrate a B-day for 5 days?

Thanks for everyones help...

If you take her to the MK on her birthday you can stop by the barber shop on main street. Inside they can "disnifiy" her hair. It's a small fee I don't remember what it is, but they add color to the child's hair and put in coffetti mickey heads. Very cute and it def draws attention!
