Birthday autograph card - how should I do it?

Hi! I'm new to this board. I have two girls, ages 4 and 6 and we bought Disneyland AP's this year (:banana::banana:). We're going to DL for DD's 7th birthday and I'd like to do something to make it really special. I let her pick a character meal, so we're doing the Minnie & Friends breakfast. We (gasp) don't normally do autographs; however, I was thinking that it would be really neat if I could do some sort of autograph card (with multiple pages, sort of like a mini-book, maybe) for everyone to sign for her birthday. We'll probably meet not only the characters at the meal, but go and meet the princesses and possibly the fairies that day as well (my girls enjoy meeting characters, so there may be more as well). I have scrapbooking supplies, but haven't actually scrapped anything in a while...

So, I'm looking for some ideas regarding what would work and what wouldn't. I'm open to the idea of leaving space to add pictures of her with the characters, but not exactly sure how to accomplish everything. I think I want something that resembles a card enough that she can ask them to 'sign her birthday card'.

Any suggestions would be appreciated! :)

Hi! What we did when we went to Disney World this summer was to take a bunch of blank index cards w/o lines on them & put a little decoration and a sticker of the character on each individual card for each of the characters we wanted to get an autograph from. Then we punched holes in the cards (make sure you don't put decoration where you punch) and put them in a binder that we found at a Office Depot or Office Max. On the outside, we had it personalized for each kid by a person on the Creative DISigns board but you could do it yourself...maybe with (Your Daughter's Name) Disney Birthday Autographs (Date)

On the other side of the card we are matting & putting a picture of the person with the character.

Cute idea!

Shutterfly ended up sending me a code for a free 8x8 photo book, so I made one for her to get autographed. (I read somewhere that they would work; I hope that proves to be the case and that the autographs don't smudge. I think we'll have to use Sharpies.) I made her some pages with her with some of the characters I'm pretty sure we'll meet, making some pages halfway generic (i.e. pictures of the girls with Snow White and Tiana, but clip art of Belle, Rapunzel, and Snow White) so that we could be flexible based on who we meet. I also made a few of the pages really generic Disneyland (with a pict of us in front of the castle or something and the Disneyland logo). I left a lot of white space on each page for the autographs. We'll see... :)
