That was a very unfair comment. First of all, Caslee has been around a long time, and has been an active DIS member with a lot of posts, and I'm sure she knows what is coming up this month. You sort of implied that she is stupid or inexperienced, which is unfair to her. Second, though several of the offers included costumes coming out this month, they will be expensive, and each of the offers included other rare things. Saying that these costumes are "all coming back" is not correct, and accusing people of trying to take advantage of Caslee is also unfair. Happy Go Lucky's offer included three tron arcade cabinets, which are very hard to get and trade very well. The Herbie costume is not coming out. The 4th hat is not coming out. The space helmet is not coming out. Those were all perfectly legitimate offers, whether Caslee takes them or not.

And Happy, don't withdraw your offer just because someone unfairly ripped you on the thread. Caslee might actually want your offer. Why punish her?

Darkace I really don't appreciate that unnecessary comment of yours, if you misinterpreted what i was saying then I apologize. But I NEVER once implied that Casalee is stupid or inexperienced; I can see that her post count is high but that doesn't mean anything, I know lots of people who don't read or forget to read the newsletter. It was rude to assume that I meant that ace and I expect an apology from you too, since I gave one to you even if I think you might not deserve it.
I was simply making sure that Casalee was aware of that, and had options. As I was writing that post I was certainly not thinking that she was stupid, and I was not trying to accuse anyone of taking advantage of her. I saw someone trade their HM room code for a HSM room code and I just didn't want to see something like that happen again, so I thought it would be best if I gave her some advice whether she needed it or not because then I could sleep at night knowing that I just didn't let it happen without saying anything.
How am I to know if Caralee knows these things or not, I was just making sure. And excuse me for trying to look out for my fellow DIS members, I was trying to help! Besides its not like I was trying to tell everyone to drop their offers and I made an offer of my own, just telling them they should not assume Casalee is ignorant that the costumes are coming out soon.
Thanks and please think about future posts that you make Darkace before basically telling people they are allowed to trade stuff that in my opinion is NOT worth a bird hat (I would not trade my bird hat for that stuff; just another piece of advice I'm giving you Casalee, even though you probably already know what its worth and what you want)

Sparkle_Cherry I am just as offended as Darkacre, and I think he spoke my mind perfectly. You have no business posting something like that, assuming that any of us are trying to cheat Caslee! We make offers, she can accept or not accept as she pleases! Especially my offer which isn't even going to be released!

As has been said MANY times this week, trade worth is in they eyes of the trader, not others. This is not necessarily a bad trade, just because you assume that it is. Someone may not want the HM room but really like the HSM room and it is their right to make this trade without your judgement.

You are the only one here who made an assumption that Caslee was ignorant. The rest of us simply offered EXACTLY what she asked for--costumes. She said ALL OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED as is her right to say. I myself assumed that she knew exactly what she was talking about and that she wanted costumes nonetheless.

I would appreciate it if in future posts you would think a little harder before basically telling people that they are taking advantage of others when all they are doing is making a trade that is none of your business. And if you are allowed to have your opinions regarding the worth of a bird hat, then why in the world should Darkacre NOT be allowed to state his opinion on your opinion? That just makes no sense at all, no matter how pleasently you want to sign your post, you have been very rude, then demanded an appology with another equally rude statement.

I could very easily have sent Caslee the PM but I thought I should let everybody know how I felt about this; If Caslee had posted something about my PM on her thread then everybody might think I was sneaking around and giving her offers and assuming the exact same thing that you are now. I was not trying to be rude at all, just informative. I never once said: 'do not take these offers they're terrible and you are stupid!' Because I know that they are good offers worth looking at;maybe she didn't know that costumes were coming on sale; like I said how on earth am I supposed to know?

Further I did not directly accuse anyone, just said that I didn't want to see her taken advantage of and let her know that costumes were coming out soon. I know that she has a right to choose what she wants in her offers, I did not tell Caslee not to take the offers. And if Caslee wants costumes for her bird hat then thats fine, I just wanted to make sure that she knew they were coming on sale so that she could help herself make a decision.

I must admit that i could have used a better choice of words in my first post on this thread and I see how you might have taken it the wrong way, but I never meant to be rude or offend anyone here. I also admit that I sounded dissy in my last post but thats because I didn't think Darkace backed up his points very well so I didn't really understand what he was talking about; I just thought he was friends with Caslee and got mad at me because he thought I was calling her ''inexperienced''. From your post Princess i now understand what ace was trying to say, and I agree with you, I was rude for puttting it the way that I did, and I didn't realize at the time how it might have sounded to other people. Also Dark I am sorry, I agree that I was wrong to try and stifle your opinion because I myself made my opinion known too.

Several people have been posting to others trade threads that what ever they are trading is not worth what they are asking.

Trades are made between the two people trading. Your opinion of what something is worth may not be the same as someones elses opinion.

A trade is fair and reasonable if two people agree to that trade.

If someone asked for an opinion about a trade, please give it.

We are asking though if no request was made for an opinion that you keep that opinion to yourself.


The value of all VMK items can be determined by the players involve in the trade.

This does not extend to free items of course or items that still can be purchased.

If you see a thread say "Pirate at the Helm room" for trade only want inferno.

Please post letting anyone know where the free item may be obtained.
But keep it nice and constructive not attacking or accusing the person of scamming.

Some free items can not be obtained by all people and thus they may need to trade for said item. A little note/reminder of where and how item can be obtained is all that is needed.


If you see a post on someones trade thread saying that " XYZ is not worth ABC " then please report it with the report post button. Thank you
