Has anyone been to this yet at DTD? I know it is "just opening" and wasn't sure if it was running yet. We have an appointment the morning of our princess lunch day and was wondering if anyone has experienced the boutique yet. They don't seem very organized via the phone yet. One CM said I needed to know the princess my DD wanted to be along with her dress and shoe sizes when making the appointment. When I finally got my 5yo to decide, we called back and they didn't want the info. It didn't fit into their computer fields. I'm hoping some of the kinks are worked out before we go . . .

Thanks . . . you replied even though I spelled your name (as well as the boutique's incorrectly.)

The thread link you gave was helpful. Now, if I can only convince my daughter to pass on the dress after I already told her about it . . .
we are already packing Cinderella, Aurora, Minnie (knock-off dress), and Tink (another knock-off.) She wants Snow White, but . . .

I spell my user-name wrong lots of times if I have to sign back in! ;)

I talked to DD about the BBB today and she definitely wants to go and luckily is past the age of wanting to wear a costume. :) I know we bought 3 or 4 at Disney in past years. princess: The crown package sounds perfect for DD. :)

I can't wait to read about someone's actual experience there.

It is open and very busy. I saw a line of about 12 little princesses being led by one of the fairy godmothers over to have their pictures taken today. Very cute!

After reading this thread, I thought it would be a GREAT idea for our little girl, so I called Disney and the operator told me, this store didnt open up until april 5th, and I would have to wait until then to Make any reservations....anyone have a number to call other than the STYLE number?

I called 407-939-7895 and was able to book an appointment for my daughter for August.

Call back . . . they are accepting reservations. I made mine several weeks ago - but they are a bit confused as I stated in my original post. I think they are still working the kinks out. I am going next week - I can write a "review" if you would like when I return.

I just made an appt this week for early June. Time choices were wide open. I used the number above too, 407-939-7895.

Please do! princess:

There are three choices, Classic, Disney Diva and Pop Princess and three package options Coach, Crown and Castle.

Coach is $35.00 for hair and makeup

Crown is $45.00 for hair, makeup and nails

Castle is $175.00 for hair, makeup, nails, princess costume, accessories and a princess photo package at the imaging studio in World of Memories

Classic style includes a rhinestone tiara and a crystal hair pin (in the shape of a Mickey)--really adorable!!

Disney Diva includes crystal barrettes and faux hair

Pop Princess includes a colorful hair extension and accessories

All styles come with a souviner brouchure with your princesses name on it, a sprinkling of Pixie Dust, a gemstone sticker for your cheek, a Princess Banner to wear and a small set of makeup to take home.

A friend of mine went with her little girl and loved it....we plan to go in August and we definately won't miss this!!

We went a few weeks ago and it was open to CM for a trial run. We saw lots of preteens running around with the "pop princess" look and lots of little girls with the "classic" castle. They all looked wonderful. I really wanted to do it for my dd....but they said they weren't taking ressies but the might take walk-ins at the end of the week...we just never got back to see if they were. Something to do on the next trip...

Well, we are back from our trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. It was a lot of fun! I went with my DD(5) and DN(4). My daughter got the Coach package - hair and makeup. She wore her own dress. My niece got the Castle - the works. Both girls were treated the same - like royalty. We had the first ressies of the day, 9:30, but there were a LOT of people already there. They have a bunch of stations to do the makeovers. I didn't count, but I guess about 10.

My daughter got the "Fairy Tale" hairstyle. It was traditional. Her hair was up in a bun with a small tiara in front and a Mickey Mouse "bling" clip in back. They sprinkled pixie dust in her hair and had her wear a Miss America type of banner thing that said Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on it. There was a photopass guy there who took her picture throughout most of the process. She was also able to take home the left over makeup that was used on her. We were then sent to the scrapbooking store at the Marketplace (World of Memories?). She did a photo shoot there and we were able to put all of the shots on the photopass card. She also was asked to sign her name in a Princess Registry book so she could come back one day and look at it.

My niece got the Pop Princess hairstyle. She has short hair, so it was nice for her to be able to have long hair with the extensions. She was able to pick an outfit from the Princess closet. Then they took her to the dressing room to get changed. They did her hair and makeup next. She had all the treatments mentioned above and was also sent for a photo shoot. Her package came with some photos, so her mom left with some on the spot.

After the makeovers we headed to MK for lunch with the princesses at the Royal Table. The girls got a lot of attention throughout the park that day. Especially when we park hopped to EPCOT where girls in princess dresses are less the norm than at the MK.

My overall recommendation is that if you have little girls, you should go. Wear your own princess dress and save some $, because you are treated no differently. Get the first ressie of the day, so the little princess can wear her hair for the entire day. It was money well spent.

Hope this helps . . .

Thanks for the post. I can't wait to take DD there. She just loves playing dress up. It just sounds like so much fun.

Can you make ressies at the 180 mark like dining? Or is it different. And does anyone know which phone number to call? Thanks for all the reviews. They make me excited to do this with my niece!!!

Marathonmommy - we want to have the make over and then head to a princess meal of some sort as well. How long did the whole thing take. We would probably do the complete package as Dniece has grown out of all of her princess dresses already.

My daughter will be 11 when we go. She loves makeup and to get her hair and nails done. Do you think she is too old for this or will she like it? Would she be the only pre-teen there? I know I would like it.

I was wondering about that also. I'm planning to take my DD4 and Dniece (11) when we go in October. I was worried that she'd be the oldest there and feel uncomfortable. When I asked her how she felt about it she said she doesn't care if she's the oldest, it still sounds like fun to her. So she wants to go regardless! :)

Does anyone know if this is a credit card hold type of reservation??

I believe you can make ressies at the 180 (or close to it) mark now. I made ressies using 407-wdw-style. We had ressies at 9:30. I had to wait for my niece who got "the works". Both girls were involved in the photo shoot at the World of Memories store, which also takes some time. We took a bus to the Contemporary (they don't go direct to the MK from the Marketplace) and walked to the MK. I would make a ressie after 1:00 to play it safe.

There were actually quite a few preteens (and teens) who visited BBB. Most only got their hair and make up done - Pop Princess or Disney Diva. I saw quite a few roaming the parks with their colored hair extensions!

jwfla22 - We did not need to use a credit card to make a ressie.

Have any adults done this? We are going in august and 2 of us plan on doing this. Not the deluxe version but probably hair and makeup. I am 36 and I think I am going with the Pop Princess look.
