While browsing on Ebay yesterday, I saw a listing for MYW tickets in which the seller bought 10-day tickets and was going the week before Xmas, leaving Xmas eve and was offering for sale 5 days of the ticket to be handed off to the buyer after the seller used his 5 days. Am I wrong in thinking that the tickets will be scanned and linked to the original purchaser so that they will be invalid for the buyer? If so, someone is in for a rude surprise!

Buyer will be in for a rude awakening.

Someone on a talk show was telling of "illegal" things on eBay such as bootleg Song of the South videos being bid up to ridiculous prices and then the buyer refusing to pay, every move I described being intentionally orchestrated.

That, together with going in and PM'ing every bidder advising them of the consequences and advising the retraction of bids, are both in violation of eBay's rules, however any looker can email eBay asking that the listing be cancelled.

The purchase of any Disney tickets on eBay is highly not recommended as even purportedly unused ones cannot be proven to be valid as described.

I agree! We just got back yesterday. Even my 10 yr old--adult ticket--had to finger scan each time we entered.
