So how much to you spend to play Bingo? Do you play more than once? Had you rather play early in the cruise or later? What is the best bang for your buck for this?

We play multiple times. It's a ton of fun. We usually get the family pack which is about $90. The final jackpot Bingo the family pack was around $120.

I have never played Bingo before. I am actually thinking about trying it out a few times at an American Legion Post not far from where I live just to get the feel of it first. That Bingo would help support veterans so me being able to practice a couple times before hand would be a win win.

We play a lot during the week and then you have to hit the final bingo game as that is where the big $$ is at.

We were new to Bingo and played toward the end of our cruise. Spent $50 and won $96. It was a ton of fun, probably because we won. We decided to skip final bingo since we were ahead, but would totally play a lot more on another cruise.

I tend to play once during the cruise and then return for the final bingo session. Can be an enjoyable way to spend an hour! Especially if you win....

The final round of bingo toward the end of the cruise is the only one that you have a real chance to win thousands of dollars. The "$10,000 Jackpot" bingos you'll see advertised mid-cruise only work if someone covers all within a limited number of calls, which I've never seen happen (and we always play Bingo). But someone always walks away with the final jackpot end of cruise.

So if you're looking for the best spend vs. most profitable winnings ratio, the final round is it. As I mentioned, though, we like to play as much as we can, just for fun. We never expect to win, but it's nice when we do (only small amounts, no jackpot).

I gave bingo a try on my cruise in December. It was a lot more fun than expected! I got soooo close to winning several times including one away from the final jackpot. (Oh, the torture of them calling the right letter followed by the wrong number and hearing someone else shout “bingo!”)

We love BINGO, especially since we won $500, betting only $50 (I think it was 48 electronic cards) on our last cruise! We only play at the end of the cruise. We've been on 3 Disney Cruises and this was our first win. Win or lose, it's a lot of fun!

Please don’t waste your money on Disney Bingo!

The odds of winning are a joke!

Stick with the casino if you HAVE to bet!

Been on 3 cruises and we have won twice, but don’t play for that reason. Fun way to spend an hour and the family packs are reasonably priced.

This. This is what I am wanting to get out of it. We don't gamble ever, but I don't mind throwing down a little money for this. If we won, we won, if not, then we had fun.

Well since there are no casinos on Disney ships it's not really a choice between the two in terms of onboard activities.

I'm not a huge bingo fan but I might go to the final one to see if I can channel my grandma's luck. She won a free cruise on Holland America once.

We usually play the final session because that's where the big money is. We have won more than a few rounds in the past and we even won the snowball jackpot two years ago on the final day. We had to split the winnings with another family but still walked away with $2500 which was pretty exciting.

I agree with Aurora55 and I am disappointed that they changed from the bingo balls to a computerized system. It's hard to feel that it is an authentic experience and that the computer isn't somehow controlling the outcome. I really don't know if I will play again because of it.

That being said, the entertainment value is still really good. The people working are high energy and they have some fun surprises throughout. On our last cruise, the conversation somehow segued into the whole crowd singing the Oscar Meyer Wiener song which was pretty funny because the girl leading Bingo had never heard it before. I thought this was the norm for cruise ship Bingo so I talked some friends into playing on a Carnival Cruise girls trip last year. It was the single most painful experience of my life and colossal waste of time and money.

If you are interested in trying it, you should. It is a lot of fun.

That does seem shady. Hmmmmm, that really might make me reconsider.
