Biking around Disney

Is it possible to bike around WDW?, the roads don't seem bike friendly but maybe in the resorts or in the golf courses, any tips or suggestions.

Hi ! to the DIS.

I don't have an answer to your question. The only time we rode bikes was when we rented them at CBR & rode around the resort. It's beautiful there!!

There are surrey bikes for rent at the Boardwalk to ride around the lake there. I think I remember seeing people ride their own bikes on that same loop, but not 100% sure.

I'm not sure about the golf courses, but I would imagine that within the grounds of the individual resorts you could go for a bike ride. JMO, the best ones would probably be the moderates and the value resorts. From what I remember, the deluxes don't seem like they would be too bike-friendly. You'd be limited to loops around the parking lot, but somewhere like Caribbean Beach Resort would have a big loop around the resort to ride.

Ft. Wilderness is very bikeable (is that a word?). Plus most of it is shaded to a fair degree which makes it comfortable as well.
