My biggest and really only problem with Helen was sending her daughter home. I mean Ron and Cathy did whatever they had to do to keep their kids on the show. When they replayed the tape of Helen's daughter crying saying something to the affect of "I want to do what my mom wants" it broke my heart. That girl still has quite a bit of weight to lose. So to me, Helen's vistory is hollow. Oh yeah the cookie incident didn't endear her to me. So she won, but in all honesty, if she doesn't watch it, she'll have a whole new problem to deal with. I suspect she'll gain a bit back and settle in once she's not working to win 250K. I mean, with stakes that high, is it any wonder you don't see contestants getting too thin?

I agree with you. From that point on I didn't like her at all. Especially when her DD was asked if she really wanted to go home and she said whatever her mothers wants is fine with her.

It was selfish of her to stay.

I hope Mike and Tara get some endorsement deals. They are more marketable then Helen- even if she did win.

If America had voted for Ron, Mike would be 100K richer. Is that right? So all of Ron's lobbying for his son actually didn't do him any good. Ahh the joys of the game!

Yes! I was trying to figure that one out too. I went to the Biggest Loser site, and according to their records, Mike came in 2nd to Helen with the percentage lost. So yes, he would have won the home prize if America voted differently.

*snicker* And Mr. Ron the "King Maker" kept Helen and sent Kristen home because he thought she was the bigger threat. Good call, Ron .

To me, it looked like Mike had something wrapped around his waist sucking him in. He looked like he couldn't breathe. Anyone else notice?

It was selfish. If you go to the BL site on NBC, most people very much say that on the message boards! I was always just appalled that Helen never really even mentioned her daughter after she was eliminated. It was like, out of sight, out of mind. Ron had a tendancy to get on my nerves, but his devotion and willingness to sacrifice himself for his son was good to see. Kathy begged for Kristen to stay. Mandy or was it Aubrey, sacrificed herself for her sister. But this mom sent her daughter packing and yeah, it paid off she won. Now maybe she can take some of that money to use towards something to benefit her daughter. But the general consensus seems to be that America wasn't exactly pulling for her. She turned people off.

I agree, Tara and Mike are very marketable. Tara sweetly said she hopes she gets a date on the post show interview link I saw. I think the guys will be lining up and I bet Mike won't be hurting for a girlfriend either. I just hope it works out for them to keep healthy.

They cut the show off too quickly after the winner was revealed. I wish they would spend at least about the last 10 minutes of the show talking to the winner, instead of cutting it out that quick.

I thought Helen looked awful and was so disappointed she won. I never wanted her to win. I hated how when Ally asked if she thought she could beat the other two, she kind of sized them up with her eyes and said I think I got a good chance.

This REALLY mad me angry!! I thought it was very *itchy of her...

Well I could see that happening. Tuning into a show filled with former contestants.

That would be awesome!!


I have to admit that I am STUNNED that Tara didn't win And, maybe it's just me, but I think that SHE thought she was going to win too when she got on the scale. She seemed STUNNED at her final weight (as if her scale at home was giving her a lower number).

I am NOT happy that Helen won. Hopefully she will put a few pounds on now because she is too thin.

DH and I were watching and discussing the final 3 after seeing Mike I told DH the only way Helen could win was if she became anorexic. Well holy crap if she didn't walk out and look it!

I have a feeling Tara had an idea she was close with her weight..but her scale at home might be off a pound or two so she wasn't sure. I also wonder if it was her time of the month..she could have been retaining a few pounds. Helen is probably post menopausal and wouldn't have that problem.

Omg, that is exactly what I said! She has a tendancy to get a bit color happy with her hair, but that platinum color was just awful. She is so pretty, I just have no idea why she does that to herself. Oh well, she looked awesome other than that!

That was great!

I think it was those god awful low waisted pants he was wearing. It made his body look a little off. But He still looked good, just bad choice of pants.

My 15 y.o asked me what was wrong with Helen??? Mom she looks like she is all skin She sure looked it. And I agree that she did it for the money. Tara needs to put a few lbs back also. They both looked better in their last way ins. They should go back to that wt.

I thought Helen looked good at the her final weigh in at the ranch too! Her face now is what is so bad. Too skinny and she's almost all nose and mouth now. I hate to say that because I'm not a superficial person but I think some people just look better with a little meat on their bones.

Mike did look great. I was happy for him since he's 18. Now he can focus on his future and really he's a little hottie now. I can see the girls stalking him now!

And yea I would love to see his brother on the next one. I was hoping they would at least mention him on the finale. Maybe say if he had seen any progress since his father and brother came home. I know they had been working out together.

I love the Biggest Loser. This was my favorite season by far! I think I cry at every episode too. Especially when Ron finished the marathon. WOW. Amazing and inspirational!
