Of course my dd had a game last night so I missed everything except for the final 3 weighing in - so I've gotta go see what I can find on line

But I too thought Helen looked sick. She looked at least in her 60s in her face.

Anyone know if there's a place to follow up on all the old contestants? Cause someone told me one of the guys that won a few years back gained all his weight & then some - so I'm just curious - I'd love to see them all now...

I haven't liked Helen since she was so selfish when her daughter went home.

I saw an interview with one of the head editors of the Biggest Loser. She admitted that it was edited to make it look like Helen was a villian and mean mother for staying and making her daughter leave, but in reality her daughter really really wanted to go home. She didn't want to be there. She said she (the editor) felt bad about the way it was edited but the higher ups wanted that story line so they manipulated the film to appear worse than it was. That video with the editor was very interesting. Wish I could remember where I saw it.

See, if that's true, it's crap like that that ticks me off about this show. The editors play more games than the contestants! Just show it like it is people!

Well, it certainly worked. I do think Hellen is a villain on this one. and the editors can do all they want, but they still have to have the material to work with, and Helen provided that material. Still think she threw her daughter under the bus. Because at the table, her daughter was second guessing herself if it was the right decision.

Most people when they lose weight they look younger, it looks like she aged 10 years. She definetly doesn't look 48!! I would easily say 58.

It was 7 weeks between the semi-final and the final.

According to Jillian's podcast the contestants went home on 2/22. The semi-finals were 30 days after that, so that's March 24. The final was live on May 12.

Still, 30 pounds in 7 weeks when you are already a normal BMI is a lot to lose in a short time.

That's what I was thinking. It's not like she just started dieting when you lose weight fast at the beginning.

She did what she did to win $250K.


Funny has Tara wasn't behind the yellow line the whole time, yet comes in third at the end.

I'm happy for all of them but I do hope Mike and Tara do well in the future.

From an earlier post. Jillian made comments about having to babysit Sione and Filipe, saying they used to go out and get fast food and so their off campus privileges were taken away. Sione is calling Jillian a liar. I found this frmo a previous post. Someone had a link to a discussion on it.

I like the part that I bolded...I think she's got a great attitude and I'm hoping she'll be able to maintain her loss (and think she will).

I cannot stand those two arrogant a-holes. That's stupid screaming thing that they do I couldn't FF fast enough last night. Yuck to both of them.

Is there a link to Jillian's interview? I would like to hear what she has to say. She's my fave!

That "stupid screaming thing" is part of their Tongan heritage. I thought it quite similar to Maori dances I've seen-I find it interesting and fascinating, not stupid.

When Helen came out with her gym clothes on I thought she looked way to thin and bony. Last night I saw her on QVC selling the Biggest Loser Cookbook and she didn't look as bad. She had regular clothes on and her arms were covered which I think made her look better. I think she went to extremes to lose all of that weight so she could win the money. I hope she gains a few pounds back because she will look healthy.
