Biggest Loser 11 Spring Team Challenge--for Losers and Maintainers

:wave2: Quick drive by. The kids are off of school today and all of their friends are busy so they are bored. I need to get them out of the house quick before they kill each other!

Didn't do very well over the weekend. I didn't even blow it on anything really worth it, just needed a weekend off I think. Why is it that 2 days of BAD eating gets you an immediate 3 pound gain, but 2 days of GREAT eating doesn't result in a quick 3 pound loss? So not fair!

I have pulled my journal out to keep strict track of what I am doing the next few weeks, started the day off well and have meals planned to keep me on plan. I just need to convince my kids that they have to pick a restaurant for lunch that I can work with. So far their choices have not been ones that have great choices for me.

I will try to catch up later!

Hi all!

Well, I have been getting a lot done this morning! I didn't workout but have cleaned the living room, dining room and kitchen. Also cleaned up the family room so DSIL has a place to sleep on Thursday night and also started the storage room. I also have the last load of laundry in the wash. Some days things get done much faster than I expect them too.

Tummy was a mess last night and this morning. I've had several cups of water with aloe and my tea and am feeling a lot better. I'm going to make some ham salad for lunch to use up some of the ham from Easter. I'll probably have a shake for supper as I have to take Ash to dancing and run to the grocery store and then run over to get her some Rev. War clothes for her project. I also have a field day meeting at 2:30. Starting to PMS is probably why I felt so stressed last night.

Izzie will be home in about 10 minutes and I need to make her some lunch and then we will put in a movie and try on the clothes in the tubs in her room. I haven't even showered yet so I also have to squeeze that in this afternoon.

TTFN :tigger:

PS Thanks for all your encouraging words!!!! That's why I love coming here everyday! You all make me feel better!

Summer Challenge Planning Post.:goodvibes

Things are a little chaotic in my life right now, so I am not going to post a whole thread about planning for the summer challenge. I welcome any and all comments. Feel free to post them on here or pm me. I have been reading along even though I haven't been posting much. Here's where we are at.

The spring challenge will end on May 20, with results being posted sometime during the following week.

The first weigh-in for the summer challenge is tenatively scheduled for Friday, June 3rd. We will probably go until right around Labor Day. This is open for discussion. If the feeling is to go past Labor Day and start the Fall challenge in mid-September or to end in August and start right after Labor day, then we can do that. I welcome all thoughts on the end date.:goodvibes

Tracey, CC and Connie are all back for the summer. Tracey is going to tweak how we do results, with more info to follow. We have discussed the possibility of going two weeks between weigh-ins on occasion this summer, depending on how busy things are for Tracey and what else is going on. If we do this, we will let you know.

Coaches--Summer seems to be a harder time for coaches. Folks are really busy. Having said this, I would love to see some folks who have not coached before, give it a try. You do not have to respond to every post. Some people find that it really helps keep them on track. In my opinion the two big things when coaching are to post the QOTD and to provide as much encouragement for the week as you can.:goodvibes My estimate is that we will need ~13 coaches for the summer.

Anything new??? We don't have anything new planned for the summer challenge, but again we welcome any new ideas. I am thinking about posting a weekly orgainizing challenge. I have found that the more organized I am the better I do with my food. Please let me know if you have any thoughts about this.

Clippie---we need a new clippie. I designed the clippies for the spring challenge. I would love it if someone could come up with something new for the summer. I know we have some creative types out there.:goodvibes

I thnk that covers everything. If you have thoughts or ideas, please let us know.

Thank you so very much to CC, Tracey and Connie for all that they do!:goodvibes And thank you to all of our coaches and all of our participants for all your positive encouragement. I've said it before, I couldn't have done this without you all.

While I am not signing up folks for the new challenge yet, if you know which week you would like to coach feel free to pm me. I will start putting a coaching schedule together.

:goodvibes Rose

Easter Blessings!

I hope this finds everyone happy, healthy, and Feelin' Groovy! The sun is shining, the birds are singing...

Just quickly -- ran Friday and Saturday, counted points yesterday, made an exercise plan through mid-July, and started using a 3-month tracker for WW yesterday. I highly recommend regrouping for anyone needing a fresh start. :thumbsup2

Love hearing about everyone's Easter with wee ones, when the highlights of your kid's basket is the Britney cd, some of the "magic" begins to wane :rotfl:

Maria :upsidedow

I soooo need to regroup!!! I'm back on the wagon today. Heading to lunch in a minute and I will make smart choices...unlike my Easter meltdown (ice cream and oreos!!). Thanks for reminding me that fresh starts can always happen :)

 Yesterday was such a good day and then I got sick less than an hour ago. I had vertigo this morning but it went away quickly and didn't hear from that monster for the rest of the day. Then, I got sick to my stomach. I have decided that it was too much milk (cheese) from the lasagna I ate last night. I've been drinking electroylte-enhanced water and will again tomorrow. I'm not lightheaded, so I'm still optimistic. I finished the day with a few points left. I'm not a big ham person, so it was easy for me not to overeat today. Dessert was a pudding with Cool Whip mixed into it, so very low in points. I got all my fruits/veggies in and plenty of protein. I could use some more dairy, but right now, I think I'm better off without any more milk in me.

Sorry for the vent. I peeked at the scale today-hopefully it's right- and I'm down so far for the week! I'm hoping that continues. My goal is 2 pounds a week until we leave for Disney in August. That would put me at my lowest since I started my weight loss journey in Sept. 2008. :cool1: If I have a good day at work tomorrow, I'm going to the gym. I really want to re-start C25K. I've realized that I'm a treadmill girl, but that doesn't mean I can't work my way up to long distances on it. Kathy: Disney is definitely a great motivator!

Well, I'm off to do some Disney research and then go to bed. I hope everyone had a great weekend!

QOTD: I am counting my points, I am planning to exercise, and I'm optimistic!

Hang in there CC!! You can do it!!

UGH!! 2 1/2 hours and 3 people later the treadmill was put together. There is no way that thing is ever coming out of the basement!! LOL

I did C25K on it tonight week 4 day 1. I was at week 5 but stopped running. Week 4 was a good place to start again. I felt really good and did 1 mile in intervals in 16:09, which was fabulous! Over all I averaged 16:18 which was great, I've shaved about 1:15 off my time from the last time I ran. I guess it was all that hydrating and walking at Disney. Now to keep that up for 10 more days!!
I really like this new treadmill. It has settings for different paths like Diamond Head and Yosemite. It also keeps track of my pace which the old one didn't so I was having to do that manually before. It also has a 40 degree incline and a -6 decline which is awesome! I hope to get the wi-fi hooked up so I can download paths from the iFit site. DH needs to help me with that though, I'm so computer challenged.

I feel like I'm mentally in a really good place for the first time in weeks. I really needed those few days in FL to regroup.

Tomorrow's plan is to start wrapping up my last duty as PTO VP, t-shirt orders for field Day. As soon as that event is over, I am done with all my duties. Elections are the 18th and even if there is no one to take my place I told the Pres I was done.
I'll still be the school photographer but that's about it. I can download and email all that to the various people, no need to be in the building.

I also plan to run, finish purging and packing winter clothes and getting spring and summer stuff out. Also going to start the purge process on the kids clothes. Have lunch with BFF and my god daughters before they head back to Montana. Then the afternoon will be spent purging the fridge, freezer and pantry. I'm pitching the crazy processed crap. I want to do more from scratch cooking, especially over summer.

OK enough rambling, I'm going to go make my own task list while waiting for DH to call. He should be rolling into DC soon.

Have a great day tomorrow everyone!!!
OOOOH! That dreadmill sounds really cool! I get so bored with the usual stuff at the gym. Best of luck with the new purchase and cleaning out the fridge!

i hope everyone had a great day! we had a nice time at my aunt's. it was HOT out! i kept telling myself not to complain since it had been a long time since we'd felt heat!

we waited until we were leaving to tell everyone about the baby. i didn't want to have to talk about it the whole time and take attention from everyone else. the whole family clapped and cheered. it was cute. my one aunt said, "how could you wait to tell us until you were leaving? now how am i supposed to grill you with all my questions??" haha

a nice plus to the day was that alot of people were commenting on the fact that i'd lost weight! :) i guess i'm about 8 pounds down from when i saw alot of them.

two bummers though is that one of my cousins couldn't make it b/c he's in the hospital with pacreatitis (can't spell). poor guy. it was his bday yesterday too. oh, and my dad was acting really weird. i dunno, my mom wasn't there b/c she was working (she's very anti-social). we have our issues but he just acted really strange at the end of the day. and finally he just left before dessert or anything. whatever. he was acting upset that thomas didn't want to sit with him - but that's b/c he doesn't KNOW him. he'll be 2 in june and i can count on two hands how many times my parents have seen him. eh, their loss. i have a million other aunts and uncles who love him!

ok, i've been doing alot of whining on here lately. no more! thanks for reading!

have a great monday everyone!

Nancy, my sister is feeling your pain (she is just over 3 months preg.). She way dying with the heat yesterday so I turned on the air conditioning for her. She and my D-BIL told his parents on Friday on their way up and his mother just said "Oh", then proceeded to complain that Brady (my nephew) didn't want to play with her. REALLY???? D-BIL doesn't really get along with his parents and they make ZERO effort to see Brady and then complain that my parents see him more often....uh, maybe because they make the effort!! So glad my sister has a good head on her shoulders and just laughs it off...I would not be as generous to them.

Hang in there!!!

Monday 4/25/11 QOTD-

Inspired by the warm weather we are having today What do you look forward to doing this spring/summer? Outdoor activities, Vacations, etc.

I am looking forward to a low key spring/summer. We plan to go to a few minor league baseball games, a day at the jersey shore, maybe a day at an amusement park. Im really looking forward to some relaxing outdoor weekends with my family! Oh and running outdoors of course.

I am looking forward to the BEACH and the pool at my condo :goodvibes I also love just sitting on my deck listening to the crickets and my favorite windchime.....ah, summer :flower3:

PS Thanks for all your encouraging words!!!! That's why I love coming here everyday! You all make me feel better!

Oh Tracey! Sorry to hear about your tummy :( I had major heartburn on Saturday night (my dad made his pasta sauce) so I basically slept sitting up. Better sleep last night thank GOD! Hang in there!!

*************
Beautiful weekend with my family! I spent Friday cooking and cleaning since I hosted Easter on Sunday. D-BIL made dinner on friday (scallops and shrimp over brown rice - YUM) and gave me some leftovers!! Saturday I went into NYC to see Wicked. Although this was the third time seeing it, I still cried during Defying Gravity :sad1: Never fails!! we had lunch at Vynl - a restaurant decorated in Albums and album covers...as well as barbie type dolls of 1980's pop stars! The New Kids and Spice Girl dolls were so fun to see! Dinner Saturday at mom and dad's house and Easter Sunday at home.

It's been so hard to get back in the swing this morning. Brian had a tough night last night...thinking about his brother....we were up talking until 1am. He has a support group tonight and Wednesday as well as his therapist on Tuesday and Friday. Guess the entire week is pretty covered for him. I have a wake tonight for the grandmother of my best friend BUT tomorrow I am doing an outside 4 mile walk with my friend Christine. I have the opportunity to do my first 5K on Saturday but I may chicken out. I'm scheduled for one on may 14th (i will do for SURE) but this one came out of the blue. Let's see how I do tomorrow with the walk and take it from there...

Have a great day my friends and make some great choices!

Good afternoon friends! I trust everyone's Easter was delightful! We had a lovely weekend. I didn't really eat any more than I had planned (except for the bit of popcorn I had last night while watching Amazing Race), but I still feel really guilty over what I did eat. I am trying to remind myself of all of the GOOD choices I made during two days of tough eating and stay positive. I had a good loss last week and I'd hate to think that two days couuld put it all back on! Hopefully not though. And today I am renewing my decision to do one more week of Phase I (SB) with WW points to be SURE that I lose anything I might have gained over the weekend.

Ohhh..... I take it back.... I also ate an additional piece of candy last night that I didn't plan on (and never journaled!). But honestly, other than that I was pretty much right on my plan the entire weekend. So I need to stop beating myself up over enjoying a few desserts and just MOVE ON!

I did take some time to read the past few pages, but I don't really have time to do a lot of responding and chatting. Today was to be CLEANING day (school vacation week), but so far I haven't even finished one room yet! And I have to attend a Rainbow Girls event with DD tonight, so I have to be showered and dressed and out the door before 6pm! This week is going to be CRAZY busy!

I'll try to hop on tonight!......................P

::yes:: Isn't that the truth?!? :lmao:

Karen, if you feel comfortable with it I say give that 5K a try this week-end! :thumbsup2 You will be walking anyway and it is fun to be part of that race vibe! :hippie:

Thanks Lisa!!
I really think I can do it!! I needed your gentle push
I think I can...I think I can....I think I can....

Oh, I really think you should do the 5K on Saturday! I love getting swept up in the energy of all the racers :thumbsup2 You could think of it as a trial-walk before you May 14th one :) :goodvibes

*************************

Back to the grind over here today :dance3: I just got back from my lunch workout and it was TERRIBLE, capital T, terrible :sad1: Only got in 2 miles running and a mile of walking (normally today I run a full 60 minutes, a little over 4 miles). Oh well :confused3, I really should have listened to my body and taken an extra rest day, but nooooo, I had to go workout :headache: I had my first 4 mile run outside on Friday and it took an heavy toll on my legs. I was thinking yesterday that I probably should take one more day of rest since they were pretty fatigued and were still hurting

Good thing is, that run made me realize that I probably should start making it a point to run outside at least one day a week so that my legs will get stronger, instead of running consistently on a treadmill. Especially if I plan on running a 10K by September.

I also did horrible this weekend at my diet :headache: I can be so good during Christmas, but a two-day weekend for Easter can completely knock me off my feet :confused3. And it's never the candy, it's always the desserts. But I'm back on track today, so I'm gonna put it behind me.

Have a great day everyone!

I hope everyone makes it through the day alive.:lmao:

Well, I have been getting a lot done this morning!

Glad your having a productive day.:thumbsup2 I hope the tummy feels better soon. I am still debating on taking friday off. I have 1 and 1/2 days to use until june 30th. Do you know what time the royal wedding actual will be airing. Im sure the media stuff will be all day but wondering what time the actual wedding is?

Summer Challenge Planning Post.:goodvibes

The spring challenge will end on May 20, with results being posted sometime during the following week.

The first weigh-in for the summer challenge is tenatively scheduled for Friday, June 3rd.

Hi Rose, Sorry things are a bit chaotic for you. I hope they calm soon.:goodvibes

I think the dates are great. Thanks for all the effort you are putting into the challenge. Thanks to CC,Connie, and Tracey for your efforts too. I dont really have any new ideas but love the idea of an organizing challenge. I could really benefit from that.:thumbsup2

The New Kids and Spice Girl dolls were so fun to see! Dinner Saturday at mom and dad's house and Easter Sunday at home.

Sounds like a wonderful weekend. I too would give the 5K a shot you may surprise yourself. Being part of a race gives you an extra ounce of adrenaline.

Ohhh..... I take it back.... I also ate an additional piece of candy last night that I didn't plan on (and never journaled!). But honestly, other than that I was pretty much right on my plan the entire weekend. So I need to stop beating myself up over enjoying a few desserts and just MOVE ON!

Dont beat yourself up Pam. You probably did better than you think given all the goodies that Im sure were put in front of you. Im glad you had a great weekend.

I hope everyone has a great day.
I'm heading over to my best friend's house to eat lunch with her. Then leaving around 6pm to head to the airport to pick my mom up. She's flying in from Chicago and going to be here for a few weeks. Then coming home and watching my DVR'ed Sunday night shows.

Please enjoy your visit with your mom! Sounds like she will be with you for Mother's Day, which I know will be special :lovestruc

10 days until we leave for FL for the Everest Challenge. I've pretty much determined we will be swept. I just can't get it down to a 16 minute pace.
I'm going to try to run every day but we are supposed to get rain every day this week.

One good thing that happened was one pair of shorts I brought with me to WDW were to big!! LOL They were my standard go to shorts last year.

Buffy -- Running every day might not be the best thing -- you also need to rest so your muscles can repair the tears that are made when you run, and make them stronger. You can't go into a race thinking you will be swept -- you will have adrenaline propelling you along, and you never know what might happen! ::yes::

My kids had a great day and are so blessed to have family that loves them and puts so much thought into the holidays to make it so fun for them.

The only negative thing that I will comment on is that my cousin found the golden egg this year and i didnt...:rotfl2: She is 20$ richer right now but thats ok.

Sounds like you had a fabulous Easter, Lindsay! If the worst thing that happened was not finding the golden egg, plenty to smile about! :goodvibes

Maria- That's what I will be doing tomorrow! It was so hard with everyone home and my schedule was just all messed up! Don't get me wrong, I loved having them home! I am just looking forward to some alone time tomorrow so I can get some work done here.

Vacation weeks are rough! Everything is off kilter, and it's really hard to stick to a routine in eating and exercise, when nothing else is the same. I actually got 2 loads of :laundy: going this morning before I left for work, so I feel like I'm ahead!

Happy Easter everyone!!!

..have lots to catch up on. But caught Buffy's post - GOOD LUCK!!! We'll all be rooting for you!!!:goodvibes :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Hey Jude! -- Hope your Easter was lovely, and didn't involve :car:

I really want to re-start C25K. I've realized that I'm a treadmill girl, but that doesn't mean I can't work my way up to long distances on it.

CC -- I am also a TM girl, and I regularly do 10 miles on it. Yes, long distances are possible, particularly if you are moving for weight loss, rather than training for a race. You are right about working your way up, though! It is something you want to do slowly, and only add about 10% each week. I know that seems to take forever, but it will be worth it because you will avoid injury, and you will grow stronger and more able to do more naturally. You can do this! :cheer2:

Good evening everyone. Hope everyone had a Happy Easter :flower3: DS had his first egg hunt today and loved it. I took a ton of photos and a few videos.

How awesome! Sounds like a wonderful day. :flower:

OK, now it's time to make a list of what I need to get done tomorrow and what I need to buy this week!

I bet making the list helped with your stress level, I know it helps me tremendously! :thumbsup2

Get that list out and then prioritize it. Don't stress it to much. Just figure out what you can do fast and first, then figure out what you can multitask.

Wise words, these are :yoda:

I really like this new treadmill. It has settings for different paths like Diamond Head and Yosemite. It also keeps track of my pace which the old one didn't so I was having to do that manually before. It also has a 40 degree incline and a -6 decline which is awesome! I hope to get the wi-fi hooked up so I can download paths from the iFit site. DH needs to help me with that though, I'm so computer challenged.

Congratulations on your new TM, it sounds fabutastic! ;)

More to come... smilie police got me!

Maria :upsidedow

I've been 100% on track today, but let me tell you that it hasn't been easy. My mother made brownies, extra fudgy brownies, for dessert today and she sent half the pan home for the boys. They are just sitting there calling my name. Brownies with a cold glass of milk, yummy. I have and will continue to resist though as I am making such good progress I don't want to back track now.

Good job, Deb! You sound so in control, I think you should celebrate with some "me" time! :flower3:

oh, and my dad was acting really weird. i dunno, my mom wasn't there b/c she was working (she's very anti-social). we have our issues but he just acted really strange at the end of the day. and finally he just left before dessert or anything. whatever. he was acting upset that thomas didn't want to sit with him - but that's b/c he doesn't KNOW him. he'll be 2 in june and i can count on two hands how many times my parents have seen him. eh, their loss. i have a million other aunts and uncles who love him!

You have a great attitude, Nancy. My IL's couldn't be less interested in ds, and we've just come to expect it. My youngest niece is coming to visit us from FL for a week this summer, and my SIL said we would have to reintroduce her to them...they aren't interested in any grandkids that belong to FIL only SMILs. Anyway (before I start a long whine), I would have made myself much less annoyed if I had just accepted this from the beginning. It is their loss!

I totally need to regroup this week. Starting today off on the right foot. This was my first Easter michael knew about the bunny, and we had a few laughs about it, but it is different. Hope you had a wonderful day.

It's sad when they cease to believe...but it's a natural progression. I'm glad you got the week off to a good start! This is going to be a good one, I can feel it! :cool1:

My mom is here and getting ready to head over to her house in a bit to get her house in some kind of order. The cabinet guy is here and will be here for 12 hours. However, the longer he is here each day the quicker I get my kitchen back.

No plans for the next few days due to having to be here during the day. I'll post before and after pictures when everything is completed.

Looking forward to seeing the before and after photos -- I'm sure you will love yoru new kitchen! :dance3:

Well its a monday morning...enough said.:sad2: It is nice and springy out which always brightens my day. I have on capri's and a tank top for work today. Its suppose to be in the upper 70's today. I am a bit disappointed because its pants that I wore this summer and I was hoping they would be to big but they still fit. Which means I need to get my butt in gear.

Ah, but Lindsay -- aren't you happy they aren't too small?! Perspective! ;)

Monday 4/25/11 QOTD-

Inspired by the warm weather we are having today What do you look forward to doing this spring/summer? Outdoor activities, Vacations, etc.

Hmmm. Not much on tap for us for "Spring" -- I actually don't think we have much of one, we kind of just go from Cold to Hot. I am looking forward to getting the patio furniture out and using the deck and my balcony. Not planning a big summer vacation this year. But it's going to be interesting -- ds will be away a total of 4 weeks this summer at camp and visiting relatives, so dh and I will have a lot of time we can just be together. Although I know I'm really going to miss my kidlet, I'm looking forward to time for the grown-ups to be together  We're running the Providence Rock 'n Roll Half Marathon in August -- looking forward to that and training for it!

The thing that I look forward to most is being outside a lot more. :sunny: And the longer days.

Yep! Isn't it awesome to have enough daylight to be outside and relax at the end of the day?! Good times, good times :cutie:

Glad you had a great day yesterday. I too need to regroup!!! I started out bad yesterday but did good with dessert because I was too stuffed.:lmao: We are still both in the same boat. Lets hoist (not sure of the spelling) our sail and head off into the right direction together.:thumbsup2

Yesterday was interesting...I pointed every bite I put in my mouth, even the 20 pts worth of Twizzlers...the interesting effect was I just punted on dinner, I didn't want any. I had dessert and called it a night. I've still got 40 of my weekly points left, so I guess I'm doing ok. I'm eating my activity points prior to weeklies, so we'll see how that works out. So far, so good. :boat:

Didn't do very well over the weekend. I didn't even blow it on anything really worth it, just needed a weekend off I think. Why is it that 2 days of BAD eating gets you an immediate 3 pound gain, but 2 days of GREAT eating doesn't result in a quick 3 pound loss? So not fair!

Sometimes you do just need a break. I agree about the unfair nature of weight loss -- but it does all catch up in the end, so if you are "on" more than "off", you will get there! :grouphug:

I soooo need to regroup!!! I'm back on the wagon today. Heading to lunch in a minute and I will make smart choices...unlike my Easter meltdown (ice cream and oreos!!). Thanks for reminding me that fresh starts can always happen :)

Karen -- ice cream and oreos sounds suspiciously like our special Easter dessert -- oreo pie crust, black cherry/vanilla swirl frozen yogurt and dark chocolate frosting -- only 14 WW pts.+ per serving  But oh, so yummy! You have to feel like you had a holiday, the trick is for it to be just one day. :rolleyes1 And I think you should go for the 5K -- you know you want to! :tilt:

Pamela -- Good luck with your cleaning week! We did a little of that Saturday, it was more like "cleaning afternoon", and even that was a bit suspect...Move on and make better choices, it's all we can do

My big challenge this week is to not eat any of the candy in the office. I have a very bad habit of grabbing mini chocolate candies in the afternoon. I get this anxious feeling, and I start eating (and needless to say I don't track any of it). I am determined to not do it this week. It seems like the longer I stay at work, the more likely I am to do it -- but I can't just get up and go home every time I think about eating candy! :lmao: I'm going to focus more on getting work done, and if I need a stress break, I'm going to read one of those Easter/MIL/Family Disney trip threads, so I can sympathize with someone else and not think about the stress factors for a minute!

Maria :upsidedow

::MickeyMo Afternoon Teams! :donald:

You know its spring in Texas when you have constant thunderstorms, hail, and power going on and off. Oh, yeah and how can I forget tornado watches. I'll be glad when we are in Florida 21 days from now! :tigger:

Alan is getting ready to leave the shop and head over to mom's and pick her up. Then we're going to decide dinner: pizza delivery or to go orders from Chilis. Kind of hard to make any sort of dinner when your kitchen is torn apart :lmao:.

Tomorrow would of been my late husband's 28th birthday. I'm hoping the weather will hold off and that I'll be able to go to the cemetary to visit. Then I'm thinking BBQ for dinner (his fave meal).

The kitchen should be completed Wednesday which means Thursday I get to organize things the way I wanted them. Alan kind of just put stuff where ever with no organization to it whatsoever. Saturday is his birthday and I still have yet to talk to him to figure out what he wants to do. I'm thinking grilling out. :)

Evening!

I had a very busy day today. I worked late and already have a good chunk of my day planned for tomorrow. I actually prefer knowing what I'll be doing ahead of time, so this woks out. My dept has an intern and he is here this week. He'll be helping me- a lot. :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the support! I felt great today. I had lots of electroylte-enhanced water and lots of veggies today. I could have done without ham at lunch and dinner, but it wasn't honey or maple sugar ham, so overall it's low in points.

And, the best part of the day...I went to the gym!!!!!!!!!!! I averaged less than 5 minute miles on the recumbent bike and went for my longest time ever! It was a great workout. :cool1: I am hoping to go much more frequently.

I did eat some of my weeklies today, but I should have enough for the rest of my WW week. I'm not sure what I'll be eating tomorrow. I usually start the day with an egg, a glass of milk, and either an apple or a banana. I have yogurt for snack and then lunch varies. I'll probably have a chicken breast sandwich tomorrow. Dinner will likely be ham.

Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow! I'm off to bed.

mommyof2pirates- The ceremony should be starting around 6am eastern time. BBC America starts coverage at 3am and the networks are starting at 4!

Did ok today. I had ham salad for lunch on potato bread made with chipotle mayo! It was actually really tasty! I also had some eggless chocolate chip cake and ate my mini mint Cadbury bar from my basket. I'm going to drink some more water. I also had a bit of lamb when Ash and I got back with some sweet heat chipotle sauce on top!

Probably eat something big for lunch and have my shakes for breakfast and dinner. I will hopefully get my walk in tomorrow night. I plan on getting up to work out in the morning. I got the downstairs cleaned so I can workout down there tomorrow. I have to work tomorrow and then do the dancing and soccer thing tomorrow night.

Need to get my water now! Brian and I have to add some columns to the spreadsheet so I don't know if I'll get the results posted tonight or tomorrow. (SO PROUD OF MYSELF!!!! I FIGURED IT OUT MYSELF!!!)

TTFN :tigger:

Only 26 total weigh ins!!!!

I will post the results tomorrow so if you want to still send in your weigh in you have until 2pm tomorrow afternoon!

Have a good night all!

I have a bunch of clothes to hang up in my room so if I want to sleep in my bed tonight I had better get moving!

Evening all! Another busy, busy day. I didn't get nearly as much cleaning done as I had planned, but the downstairs is pretty good. Kitchen counters cleared and wiped, backsplash wiped, appliances wiped, floor washed. Dining room dusted and vacuumed and picked up, living room dusted and vacuumed and picked up, office dusted and vacuumed and picked up. Downstairs bathroom cleaned, floor washed. DD's bathroom picked up and cleaned and floor washed. One load of laundry washed and dried. Recycling bins emptied into garage bins Paperwork pile in kitchen sorted and cleaned up.

Sorry about the ramble.... just thinking out loud and trying to be happy with what I accomplished today.

Tomorrow I will be out all day... car load to transfer stations, fasting blood work in the morning, mammogram around 11 am and eye doctor at 4pm... all in Concord, so DD and I will just shop and run errands between appointments, grab food out, and then head to the Y for swim practice and evening workout after the eye doctor. So I'll be gone from about 8 am to 9 pm. So don't be looking for me to check in tomorrow. Sorry.

Been having a bit of foot pain, so I'm gonna skip the Treadclimber tomorrow night and stick with the elliptical. I am just 10 days away from DISNEY so I can't afford sore feet!

DD and I are getting super excited..... single digit dance tomorrow!
But I've had NO TIME to even start loading up the suitcases. They are just sitting here taking up space in my room. I have a brand new camera I don't even know how to use and I haven't had the time to figure it out. I may even get up an hour early tomorrow to spend some time reading the camera book and experiment with it.

Well.... gonna run and finish watching DWTS with DD.............P

Hi all,

I just have a few minutes so sorry I dont have replies.

I picked my boys up from my parents after work and we played outside for awhile. It was in the 80's today. It felt soooo good.:cloud9: We then got home and did homework, baths, and then got the boys in bed. Nick kept coming out crying and finally settled around 9. He had a hard time sleeping last night too. The same thing happened around christmas. I think he just gets so overwhelmed and overtired it throws his whole routine off for a few days.

Tomorrow I have to get to work early so I can leave early to get ryan from school and to his tball game on time. We are suppose to have another beautiful day.

I also really need to get a run in tomorrow and thursday. Sunday is my half marathon and I am not feeling very prepared. I am excited for the weekend because they have a really great expo and kids race on sat. A few of our friends are doing the race and they also meet us at the kids race too. It usually is alot of fun.

Ok have a great evening everyone!!!!!!

Good Tuesday morning Teams

Sorry I haven't been on in a couple of days. I am still not feeling 100% and dh keeps feeling lousy also. We both aren't sleeping well and that is starting to get to me.

We had a quiet Easter with my parents and one of my sisters. There was way too much food but I didn't over eat. SInce I have had this cold I have lost my sense of taste and smell.

I went back to school yesterday and then had to join my parents at a wake. Their neighbor died last week. My parents neighbors moved into their house a couple of weeks before my parents and my parents have lived there for 55 years. Both families have grown up together so I had to go. He lived a good long life but it is still sad.

Today I don't have anything after school so it will be nice to come straight home. It is supposed to be nice but it has been very foggy here and cool by the coast. As you are driving toward my house you can see the fog rolling in.

SOrry I don't have any responses today. Will try to get back here later to do it.

Have a happy and healthy day.

I hope you are feeling better soon. Sorry about your neighbor friend. My parents lived next to my neighbors for my whole life and they too are like family to me. Very sad.:sad2:

Good Morning Friends!

today is a new day and another day to get ourselves moving and be healthy.:thumbsup2 I have decided that I really need to stop fooling around and get serious again. I am starting to count and journal again today. I have now gained back 10 of the 35lbs I had lost so I feel like I am starting to fall quicker down the mountain. I need to put the brakes on and move forward in the right direction.

Tuesday 4/26/11 QOTD-

What is your favorite warm weather meal?

Mine is grilled chicken, a slice of homegrown tomatoe, and corn on the cob.:goodvibes

QOTD: Grilled chicken salad or taco salad if I'm not feeling in a healthy mood!

Good morning!

I got up and did the 2 mile WATP at 5:30 this morning. Tummy is mostly better. Today is our ridiculous evening of 2 soccer practices and dance class. I have to work until 2 and then I will run to Market Basket to get what DSIL and I need for Friday. I will need to stop at a liquor store to get a bottle of champagne.

I need to fix another cup of water and then make my tea. I'm having a shake for breakfast and a WW meal for lunch and then I'll also have a shake for supper and then I can have a snack after walking the track while watching BL. I'll get the results up during that time.

Gotta fix Izzie's breakfast and get her clothes out!
