Sounds like a plan.

I so need this challenge. I started the day off, but after work was rushed to get to scouts, and didn't journal anything else after lunch. I actually ate pretty well today, but I know I need to journal to keep myself within my weekly points. I will start my ww week tomorrow, and have my paper folded with the next 7 days ready to go. It's with my work stuff, so I will not forget to put it in my pocket in the morning.
I am definitely in! I need this, so need this. I had a great 1st day of my new journal. 100% OP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats on your great first day of journalling!! I'm going to follow your lead tomorrow.
Cam I am in on the journaling challenge. I need something to jump start me.
We can do this dona.
read and run.
How come no one told me Track and Field events took 4 hours?!?!??!
DS14 had his first meet today. Ran the 100 meter and the 200 meter and did really well for his first time out.
then invention convention at the elementary school, that goodness the private school DS9 goes to didn't have an event.
Mama's tired so I'm headed to bed in 10 minutes.
Been staying on plan with food only because I've been to busy to eat!! LOL
See y'all tomorrow!
So happy for ds. Did I see the ee challenge is just one month away!! Whoo hoo!!
**Kam...... I'm in for the journaling challenge!! You all are going to have to work hard to keep up with me. I've journaled virtually EVERY BITE for 3 years now...... and got the notebooks to prove it!!
Well, now I'm feeling some pressure. My folded piece of printer paper doesn't compare with 3 years of notebooks, but it works well for me, when I DO IT!!! That is the key. I'm in, every bite, lick and taste.
Nice work on the orgranizing today, P. I laughed about your junk drawer because a few weeks ago, michael and a friend had a rope tied from the refridgerator to my kitchen junk drawer, and they were videoing each other running into the rope and falling, and imagine their surprise when the junk drawer flew completely out of the cabinet, and all over the kitchen floor. I wasn't too mad, because I couldn't tell you the last time i had cleaned it out, so it wasn't a bad thing. Fingers crossed for you and the scale tomorrow!!
Today is my "friday", I cant wait for work to be over. No motivation today but I have a bunch of stuff to do. So I should get motivated I guess.
Ryan has tball tonight and I am toying with the idea of missing it so I can run but that is giving me some guilty feelings so Im not sure what I will do. I am having subway for lunch and I have to decide what to make for dinner. I really need to get some quick recipes together to use once tball is in full swing and dh's hours change. Otherwise it could become a fastfood disaster.
Enjoy your long weekend, Lindsay. Hope you were able to get your run in today too. It's tough when the mom-guilt kicks in, but remember, we are important too, and deserve to take some time and get our exercise in.
I had an MRI on 3/22. It looks normal except for...
"very small subcortical stress-related cyst posterior lateral aspect hemeral head". They say that should not be causing the pain and motion restriction I am having.
I have an Appointment with an Orthopaedist on 4/20. Should I see him or a neurologist? Any thoughts, ideas to help with the pain which is especially bad when I sleep...etc.
Things I do at home...ice, aleve, ibuprofen. Nothing seems to be helping.
Thanks!
Nancy
I think seeing the orthopedist is a good next step, and getting his recommendations, and maybe some advice on what the chiropractor has been doing too. Maybe some PT, instead of the chiro might help to strengthen the muscles. Hope you get some relief soon.
Oh, its him, totally him.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Of course it is. I thought of you when I heard about the new west coast cruise ports. I did peruse the website, and the hawaii sounds amazing, but I need to do a shorter cruise first. Oh, and of course, I didn't look at any prices.

Gotta get me some lottery tickets.
Okay, so who wants to join a
journaling challenge with me? Should we do it here? or set up a new thread where everyone can check in? I think, so far,
Kathy is on board with me. I'm not sure if
CC is game. Who else? Anyone? Bueller? ......... Bueller?
Okay, here it is. Let's commit to journal our food, even if it is just for the next two weeks. This might mean only writing down what you eat and the portion size for now. If you are able to track points or pointsplus or calories or some other nutrition information, too, that is great -- you are already on to "step 2". So, who is with me? (Kathy, I've "volunteered" you, my friend

)

I so need this!! I think 2 weeks is a perfect start, and hopefully we'll get so into the routine, we'll all turn in to Pjlla's!!!
Would you believe that I'm actually here today? I hope I don't give any one a heart attack by chiming in for the first time since VERY early in this game.
Hello, Connie!! Great to see you back.
So the
QOTD Thursday 4/7/11 is Do you measure progress without the scale and what do you use? You can use the answers provided or use your own.
I measure progress without the scale by...
-- How my clothes fit
-- Using other numbers (body fat, BP, etc.)
-- Monitoring my energy levels
-- Assessing my emotions and self-esteem
-- None of these- I only use the scale.
-- All of the above.
BRB with replies.
How my clothes fit, energy level which is closely related to my activity level. If I'm exercising, I definitely have more energy.
I wish I had the discipline to journal everyday! I usually begin well and then forget a snack...then a meal....then an entire day. I've gotten back on that food journal horse soooo many times. So, I am inspired to begin again!! Thanks for the support (and the challenge!
So we'll plan on your for our 2 week journalling challenge?
So now we have,
Cam, CC, Dona, Pamela, Karen, and me. Any one else want to join us!!!!???
Prayer, pixie dust, and fingers crossed for the news from the scale tomorrow.
...........P

Good evening everyone. I'm need to go to work early, so I wanted to catch up here tonight. We had a good evening, went to the park with the scouts, and played tennis and kickball. The boys were all well behaved, and since they've all earned thier bear badges, I think the remainder of the year we'll try to keep them active for our den meetings.
I just saw 80 degrees in the forecast for monday!!! So exciting. The weekend looks warm too, around 60. I think spring is really here now.
Thank you Lisa for coaching this week, and all the sparkpeople links. You are the spark-princess.

I do enjoy reading them, but don't tend to go over there myself, and I should. I'm going to try and get all 7 days of the hh points by reading on sparkpeople. Such great articles they have there.
Good luck to everyone on the scale tomorrow and this weekend. Hope we are all happy with our numbers, and if the numbers are not cooperative, remember all the non-scale ways we all can measure our success.
Have a great friday.
